They have gone up significantly… but a 40count pack of those food storage bags was never ever $1.

They sure were at 99 cent, went to 1.25 at Dollar Tree. Now they don’t even carry them.

ShopRite:
"Good Sense 30 Gal. Large Trash Bags with Flap Ties, 30 count: $3.99"

The trash bag pricing you saw isn't because of tariffs, it's because Walmart and Amazon allow predatory third-party sellers to target unsavvy shoppers. In this case it's a third-party seller who price gouges assorted cleaning products from dollar stores.

Oh, dear-ing my typo (it should've said "twist tie," not "trash"), but if you search Walmart's website for Great Value Twist Tie Storage Bags, Gallon, 100 Count, you'll find prices in the $3 to $4 range for much of the US. If you'd like to track the rise of Walmart's prices, you can do so at Aisle Gopher. Coffee is one of the everyday items that should show a decent jump.

OP - WalMart has them online for $3.67 for the same size and quantity.

You buy cow ears for your Cavalier?
That dog must have a huge mouth, EL @ R5!

It takes him a good long time to eat one R12.

OP, you're not much of a shopper. R9 is correct.

Will the maroon OP come back and own their stupidity?
I think not.
