Groypers are nihilistic reactionary fans of Nick Fuentes, they have an extensive online subculture of memes and dogwhistles and often behave in an intentionally obtuse way.

It should be noted that there have always been really weird straight men out there and women have always found ways to keep their distance from them.

I was interested for about a week. My conclusion is that, while I spend a lot of time online reading news, books, puzzles, watching videos, etc., I am not a rabbit hole person. I cannot imagine a life of screaming into the void the way these groups apparently do. DL is my only source of "conversing" with like-minded people. I post frequently, but if it shut down tomorrow I probably wouldn't look for another site similar to this.

I'm only half-joking when I say that when I was a clueless and aimless white gayling, I just partied with friends in real life and in real time. There was very little anger, if any, about life treating me unfairly. My parents (I'm 64) taught me that you worked for everything. I don't mean to be the "in my day" guy, but my siblings, my peers, my friends, and I simply didn't have the time to spend countless hours doing whatever would be analogous to extreme online involvement.
