I think the winner is Brad Pitt.
I've never seen the appeal of Johnny Depp. Yes, he was good-looking when young, but so bland and he seems mainly interested in playing writers and tortured artists, which is boring. Donnie Brasco and Arizona Dream are his only good films. In real life, he seems so sour and pretentious in interviews. He rambles and it's a chore to listen to him.

I think Depp has more charisma and is a much better actor than Brad Pitt. Pitt's best roles have been as a supporting/ ensemble actor (se7en, Ocean's 11, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Burn After Reading). Watch Pitt in the leading role and it becomes impossible to ignore how limited his acting skills are (Ad Astra, World War Z, Moneyball).
Depp is a real actor while Pitt is just a handsome movie star.
(Yes, I know Depp is a sleazy creep and completely washed up)
