I've never been a huge Talking Heads fan, but I appreciated her bass playing in the group immensely. Very interesting player, and self-taught. Also, she looked fab onstage.

She was sooooo thin back then. I guess they really were starving artists.

I love seeing her hair moving in videos. And the bass line for Psychokiller defined the song. It's a pity David Byrne was such a dick about her contribution.

I read an interview with her a couple of years ago where she described David Byrne as "Trumpian" in the way he led the band. I've always thought he was a pretentious prick who had less talent than most of the people surrounding him.

Love her, but OP, why not a better pic?
She has Kash Patel eyes in that photo, JFC!

R8 I think it's a badass picture. She's locked in. She looks stunning in this one too.

Well, I know this won't be a popular opinion, but when she and her husband and Jerry Harrison tried making albums and touring as THE HEADS it just came off as both greedy and pathetic. Love him or hate him, Talking Heads without David Byrne is not Talking Heads... or The Heads. Just keep recording as Tom Tom Club or start yet another band, but FFS move on. They seemed obsessed with David.

I remember an interview with David Byrne and St. Vincent. David was trying to explain, in a very autistic manner, that he and Annie had become friends. It was like pulling teeth, he was clearly very confused by the concept of friendship.

What's she gonna do when she gets out of jail?

I would hardly say that, R7.

She comes from an interesting family, including her brother Yann, a noted architect once married to Kay Graham's flaky daughter.

Rolling Stone did a cover story on Talking Heads in the mid-1980s that contained a quote I'll never forget. The reporter was interviewing Tina and Chris at their home, and while touring the kids' playroom he noticed a child-size drum kit. The reporter asked their young son if he also had a scaled-down bass guitar, and the boy made a stank-face and spat out, "Bass is for [italic]girls!![/italic]"
They settled in Fairfield, CT, not far from Newtown and the Sandy Hook shootings. They helped produce a charity single to raise money for the victims' families.

Grew up listening to “fear of music”. Love the band but Tina and David had the classic toxic relationship
