Is anyone else as obsessed with them as I am? I love getting all the restaurant gift cards.
Credit card points

I only care about getting points to transfer to miles. I haven’t paid cash for a flight to Europe since the 1990s. I went twice this year and will again go twice next year on points/miles. I’ve also used points to go the Caribbean this year and Canada next year.

My main credit card Chase Freedom just gives me points that I can use to reduce my bill or use on Amazon purchases.
While I am not obsessed with it, it is always nice to get a few bucks back, I don't carry a balance so all they get from me is a percentage of my purchases.
I have a GM rewards card that will give me a reduced price on any new GM vehicle that I have use in the past to save over a thousand on the purchase of a GM vehicle but I am not planning on buying any more vehicles in this life time, so I rarely use it, probably should use it before they cancel it on me for lack of use.

Yep. It's not hard to do the basics. I have a free card that gives 5% in different categories each quarter, and a premium card that gives me 3% on restaurants and travel. Combine those with a couple of airline cards and things add up quickly.

NowbI have to wait for eleven more responses to learn what the card lets you do.

It’s good to have the Sapphire Preferred card if you also have the Freedom card, so the points can be used to transfer to airline partners.

I have a freedom card. I just get cash back. I usually do that to a savings account all year and then that goes towards Christmas money for cards, gifts, etc.

Just a distasteful aspect of American money grubbing.
