Came here to post exactly that. You can tell that he's not classically trained like his contemporaries (Hiddleston, Cumberbatch, and Fassbender). He's only suitable for beefcake roles, and sadly, he lacks the charisma to pull even those off.

OP Henry Cavill is the star of Highlander which they are pushing back production start to accommodate his injury. They were able to assemble a very good cast based on Henry’s participation (Russell Crowe, Djimon Honsou, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan).

He’s fine when he’s in the right role: Man From UNCLE and as Sherlock in Enola Holmes. He plays “bemused” well, like Cary Grant. All these overwrought superhero movies are deadly.

Agreed, R21. DL always seems to assume that every gay man is secretly both flamboyant and an insatiable bottom, which I suspect tells us more about DL than the people it's gossiping about.
