Charlie Kirk needed full-time private security. God what a price to pay for fame. I know bodyguards have been around since the dawn of time but I don't think it's a coincidence that security details became more elaborate with the rise of social media.
Does every public figure need security these days?

Sharon Stone recently said that when you're famous and you see someone smiling at you, you're never sure if they're going to say hi or shoot you. Yes, they need security all the time.

You know, I'm not up on the latest technology, but how much does it cost to have a few drones fly around to check the rooftops? And some metal detectors to screen people for we apons? And they two or three body guards to drive him and stay close so they can check the toilets? Kirk was worth $12 Million.

According to news broadcasts, Kirk had chapters of his organization in every state in the union. Why didn't he have some security of his own at his events?
