I posted in another thread about how Jewish Americans, and particularly those I know in the tristate area, are completely misunderstanding this moment. Generally speaking, they are so operating in one voice, which says to defend Israel at all cost, that they don’t realize how passionate people are in their opposition to what is happening in Gaza. It’s as if they don’t understand how anyone could possibly see it any other way when, in truth, their Israel-is-infallible position is the minority one (and by a wide margin).
