Stunning montage of NYC to start and it’s all downhill from there. Denzel is fine and Jeffrey Wright is terrific. Worst musical score I’ve heard in a long time. It’s like something out of a fucking ABC Afternoon Special. WTF-Spike Lee has shit for taste when it comes to music, though.
This one could have been a classic like its source material. Oh well.
