In an exclusive interview with CBS News senior correspondent Norah O'Donnell for "CBS Sunday Morning," Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett discussed how she sees the role of the nation's highest court amid questions over its independence.

It's concerning to listen to them explain at R1 how overturning Roe vs. Wade can easily lead to overturning gay marriage.
It almost seems inevitable, given Donald Trump's next four years in power, the Republican majority Congress, and the conservative Supreme Court.

Fucking lying cunt. Then given back a woman's right to choose.
And don't even think about taking away the right of same-sex marriage. Fucking lying cunt.

Nice speech, Amy. But I wouldn’t worry about your values. You can always put your black robe where your values ought to be.

CNN: "Amy Coney Barrett defends her abortion vote."
Wait, I thought she just said that the court should be impartial, and shouldn't impose its values on Americans??
I thought she said it should be strictly based on the law?
Conservatives talking out both sides of their assholes again.

R2 I honestly don't see Trump being POTUS for the whole term.

The Supreme Court wasn't this disgusting until Gen X came onto the scene. Just sayin'.

Bitch please, you and your fellow Trump ass-kissing justices are doing that right now.

This stupid whore is like a bunch of other Gen X white women.

She wrote in her book that she views the rights to marry, engage in sexual intimacy, use birth control and raise children are “fundamental,” but the rights to do business, die by suicide and terminate a pregnancy are not.

Key words: SHE VIEWS.
Just because she sees it that way, doesn't make it so.
These justices are human just like everyone else, with all of the same judgments and biases.
And the fact of the matter is that she has a conservative Catholic background which influences every single fucking decision she makes.
Now THAT is the truth and reality.

The US press is too deferential. I read Der Spiegel and I'm confident they would have brought the interview to a screeching halt and pointed out the contradiction of her destroying the right to get an abortion while gassing on about freedom.

While I still don’t see gay marriage being overturned, that doesn’t change the fact that she is a cunt.
Sad/happy that Roe v Wade doesn’t affect me.

R14 Oh I can easily see gay marriage being overturned.
Ever since these morons, GenX, ascended to SCOTUS, they've turned the Supreme Court into an absolute joke.

Justice Ofjesse: handmaiden to patriarchal control of women's bodies and minds. Brood mare for a medieval religious cult. Shameless liar.

Allowing abortions = imposing “liberal views” on everyone. She’ll view taking away gay marriage the same way, increasing the freedom of straight people to not be disgusted by seeing fags.

I wonder if this stupid cunt even appreciates the fact that she was part of the ONLY generation of women to have federal access to abortion during her birthing years.

Based on her faith, I highly doubt she would ever have had premarital sex, much less have an abortion.
She probably only does it in the "missionary position" with her nightgown on, and the lights off.

Not to defend the woman and going JUST on what she said in the interview, she clearly states that according to her interpretation of the law that abortion IS NOT a fundamental right guaranteed by the 14th Amendment and gay marriage IS a guaranteed fundamental right. That at least is a tad comforting. I am just hoping the Supreme Court decides not to take up the most recent case challenging gay marriage. We should know this month I believe.
