It almost seems inevitable, given Donald Trump's next four years in power, the Republican majority Congress, and the conservative Supreme Court.

Just because she sees it that way, doesn't make it so.

These justices are human just like everyone else, with all of the same judgments and biases.

And the fact of the matter is that she has a conservative Catholic background which influences every single fucking decision she makes.

Now THAT is the truth and reality.

The US press is too deferential. I read Der Spiegel and I'm confident they would have brought the interview to a screeching halt and pointed out the contradiction of her destroying the right to get an abortion while gassing on about freedom.

Not to defend the woman and going JUST on what she said in the interview, she clearly states that according to her interpretation of the law that abortion IS NOT a fundamental right guaranteed by the 14th Amendment and gay marriage IS a guaranteed fundamental right. That at least is a tad comforting. I am just hoping the Supreme Court decides not to take up the most recent case challenging gay marriage. We should know this month I believe.
