Why do we need more of this in the world? What is the point of these endless movies and TV shows of nothing but endless darkness? No wonder the masses are depressed and anxious. Reality is horrible enough and then this is almost all there is in terms of "entertainment."

I agree, r24. I just read Gein’s Wikipedia and I don’t know how anyone could live with that stuff in their head for long enough to write a book/tv show about it.

It’s extremely disturbing.

There is a giant diversity of entertaining media produced around the world every year. This is a drop in the bucket. If dark is not your thing, ignore it.

I think streaming has given Murphy the chance to make a bunch of shows that shouldn't exist.
