I just cashed in some winning lottery tickets and got 6 $100 bills. I’m too old for drugs and whores. What do you do with cash these days?
What can you do with cash these days?

Don't you have a bank account? ATMs take cash deposits.

In the US, cash is accepted everywhere.

Ask for a cash discount for whatever you buy. Prices are set to cover the merchant’s credit card fee.

R3 Not really. I've been to a number of new small eateries and retail stores this past summer (the ones owned / operated by Zoomers and Millennials) and they don't accept cash. For a number of reasons they don't want cash on the premises. They have signs on the front door when you walk in warning 'no cash sales'.
They prefer ApplePay, Venmo, etc. They give you the eye roll if you say you don't do e-Pay and have cash or credit card. They reluctantly tell you they'll accept credit card but they will add on a dozen fees for doing so.

I get 3-5% cash back when I use my credit cards, so I don’t want to pay cash for anything I can charge. I suppose I could deposit it in the bank, but I was hoping for some more creative ideas.

Go to the dog track, OP. Or horse track.

Jesus, OP -- where do you live?
Go out in the country and you'll find plenty of places where they'll take cash. There's a restaurant down the road from me that [bold]only[/bold] takes cash, FFS! Don't you go shopping? I'm sure your grocery store will take cash. If not, go to your closest WalMart, if you're not too proud to set foot in there, and get canned goods like there's going to be an apocalypse. Who knows?
Jesus -- do we have to teach you everything??

I don't see how businesses can refuse cash payments. Does it not say on paper money "this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private"?
I like to have a fair amount of WAM(Walking Around Money) on me, and at home. Which is just as well, since my bank would charge me a fee if there is no activity on my account during any calendar month(electronic transfers do not count) I'll withdraw enough to get me through the month, and in the process "cheat" them out of the 10 buck fee.
I like to pay cash for small neighborhood-y purchases: bottles of water, breakfast out, slice or two of pizza, etc. Any restaurant tip I leave is always in cash.

R19 I've been to a recently opened pizzeria in Attleboro, MA this summer, and they do not take cash. A friend of mine who lives in Vineyard Haven, MA went to a new bakery there this summer and she ran into the same problem - ePayments only. I don't think MA is enforcing this at all.
OP - the 3-5% cash back you're getting on your CC, you are actually paying the merchant in the additional CC fees they now add on to every CC transaction. So you're paying an extra 3% just to get it reimbursed in the future.

There are ATMs where you can deposit cash into your account, OP.
They are fewer than normal, but if you can find a bank branch you can probably find one there.
