She's a completely ordinary-looking young woman; neither "breathtaking" (in case R3 was being unironic) nor deserving of anyone's pity.

r3 was likely referring to Dr. Dr. Pfeffer's declaration on Seinfeld about the ugly baby.

Then later about Elaine. When she asked him to clarify what he meant by "breathtaking," he said "sometimes you say a thing like that just to be nice."

I'm sure that's what r3 was doing here.

And you can definitely see both of her parents in her...although the combination of the parents' features is a bit....muddled, isn't it?
