Rand Paul says CDC official’s “lifestyle” disqualifies him from a government position

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Tuesday said a gay leader at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who resigned last week in protest of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had “no business being in government” due to the “lifestyle” he led.

Demetre Daskalakis, former director of the CDC’s Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, was among the four CDC leaders who resigned last week, saying in their resignations that the changes under Kennedy were preventing them from carrying out the agency’s public health mission.

“One of the guys that is the biggest proponent of doing all this is the guy who describes the risky behavior that he and his lifestyle involve,” Paul said when asked about the exodus in CDC leadership Tuesday evening, referring to Daskalakis.

Paul was discussing his opposition to infant vaccinations against hepatitis B when asked.

“A guy that is so far … out of the mainstream, I think most people in America would discount his opinion because of the things he said in the past. He does not represent the mainstream of anything in America,” Paul continued.

“He should have never had a position in government. And he brags about his lifestyle, you know, this whole idea of bondage and, you know, multiple partners and all that stuff. He brags about that stuff, but he’s got no business being in government. It’s good riddance.”

GOP Rep. Buddy Carter (Ga.) has also criticized Daskalakis for his personal life, calling him a “BDSM Satan worshipper” on CNN on Sunday.

R3 ewww

by Anonymousreply 6September 3, 2025 2:00 AM

R3 had been in a cave for years…not up on the news and poor taste in sex objects….

by Anonymousreply 7September 3, 2025 2:04 AM

I always have wondered why we never see Curly Top here in the same place as his alter-ego Ru Paul…(?!).

by Anonymousreply 8September 3, 2025 2:11 AM

Donald Trump has over two dozen credible claims of sexual assault. I guess that is not a deal breaker for Ayn Rand Paul.

And RFK Jr spent decades taking recreational drugs , constantly abusing alcohol, and even has a brain worm. If anybody doesn't belong heading a government agency, it is him.

by Anonymousreply 9September 3, 2025 2:15 AM

Thank God I'm retired!

by Anonymousreply 10September 3, 2025 3:08 AM

Wow, RandPaul is morphing into Mitch McConnell. Look at that fucking face!

by Anonymousreply 11September 3, 2025 3:15 AM

I’d like to see them stay and fight.

by Anonymousreply 12September 3, 2025 3:51 AM

But we have a whore for First Lady! And the ungrateful bitch doesn’t even want to be there.

by Anonymousreply 13September 3, 2025 4:18 AM

But the serial-cheating, roadkill-eating heroin addict is totally cool.

by Anonymousreply 14September 3, 2025 1:28 PM

Rand Paul is a retired eye surgeon, and he once had to invent his own accreditation body to get himself credentials.

by Anonymousreply 15September 3, 2025 1:43 PM

He used to sell contact lenses. LOL

by Anonymousreply 16September 3, 2025 2:00 PM

[quote]And he brags about his lifestyle, you know, this whole idea of bondage and, you know, multiple partners and all that stuff. He brags about that stuff, but he’s got no business being in government

Is he just referring to the skanky instagram account or does he know something we don’t?

by Anonymousreply 17September 3, 2025 2:03 PM

It's true. Sexy people have much better places to be than in the civil service.

No one who works in those buildings is having great sex.

by Anonymousreply 18September 3, 2025 2:07 PM

Like the squirrel on his head disqualifies him from the Senate.

by Anonymousreply 19September 3, 2025 2:34 PM

If you are a CDC official, why the fuck are you posting leather daddy shit? Ugh. Fuck off.

by Anonymousreply 20September 3, 2025 2:35 PM

R20, someone who was found liable for rape has no business being president

by Anonymousreply 21September 3, 2025 4:11 PM

How did "Curly Top" even find out about Dr. D's extracurricular activities? Probably a snitchy little gay boy on his staff.

by Anonymousreply 22September 3, 2025 4:51 PM

[quote] Is he just referring to the skanky instagram account or does he know something we don’t?

That’s the thing. I’m wondering if Paul has access to more personnel data than what is public.

by Anonymousreply 23September 3, 2025 5:05 PM

Just to be contrarian: you have responsibilitirs as an official representative. In my (European) country, if you work for the state, you have to take an oath you will do nothing that can be detrimental to the reputation of the state that you represent. This includes being visibly drunk in public or jumping nakd into the river or some shit. It certainly includes postings about yourself at a bondage orgy. Sounds like he fucked around and found out.

by Anonymousreply 24September 3, 2025 5:55 PM

I’ve worked with Dr Daskalakis. He’s a warrior for public health, especially for LGBTQ populations.

All the shading by Rand “I can’t pass the ophthalmology board” Paul, who deserved whatever his neighbor did to him, is pure homophobia. He’s basically saying gay men have safe sex is “extreme.”

by Anonymousreply 25September 3, 2025 7:01 PM

This is Rand Paul’s quote:

One of the guys that is the biggest proponent of doing all this is the guy who describes the risky behavior that he and his lifestyle involve. He describes that as that may be risky behavior to you, that just brings us joy,” Paul said when asked about the exodus in CDC leadership Tuesday evening, referring to Daskalakis.

Lifestyle?

Euphemism for fags

by Anonymousreply 27September 3, 2025 7:04 PM

[Quote] “He does not represent the mainstream of anything in America,”

So we should conduct public health and medicine by poll?

by Anonymousreply 28September 3, 2025 7:09 PM

[Quote] Rand Paul is a retired eye surgeon

He went into politics because he couldn’t pass the board

by Anonymousreply 29September 3, 2025 7:11 PM

This should have been a poll!

by Anonymousreply 30September 3, 2025 7:11 PM

Consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want.

Paul is awfully quiet about his President fucking young girls with Epstein

by Anonymousreply 31September 3, 2025 7:17 PM

Rand Paul voted for RFK Jr as HHS Secretary. What about good riddance to him?

"This includes being visibly drunk in public or jumping nakd into the river or some shit. It certainly includes postings about yourself at a bondage orgy."

Does this include being found liable for rape, being accused of sexual assault by dozens of women, or being best friends with a pedophile and helping him cover up his crimes?

by Anonymousreply 34September 3, 2025 7:29 PM

So much for Rand Paul the supposed libertarian.

by Anonymousreply 35September 3, 2025 7:32 PM

Rand Paul always struck me as somewhat of a cookie-sniffer himself.

by Anonymousreply 36September 3, 2025 7:44 PM

Just wait until Rand Paul’s private life gets exposed

by Anonymousreply 37September 3, 2025 8:04 PM

[quote]Paul has said that same-sex marriage "offends [himself] and a lot of people" on a personal level, and said there is a "crisis that allows people to think there would be some other sorts of marriage."

Silly cunt.

by Anonymousreply 38September 3, 2025 8:59 PM

I'm looking forward to Rand Paul's episode of Fear Thy Neighbor where his neighbor finishes the job he started..

by Anonymousreply 39September 3, 2025 10:23 PM

2017 assault refresher:

On November 3, 2017, Paul was assaulted by a neighbor, Rene Boucher (then aged 59), a retired anesthesiologist. Paul, who is deaf in one ear,[397] was wearing noise-canceling headphones while mowing his lawn, reportedly enabling Boucher to tackle Paul without his own approach being noticed.[398]

Boucher was arrested and charged with one count of fourth-degree assault and released on a $7,500 bond. Paul sustained five broken ribs, of which three were displaced fractures.[399][400] In August 2019, part of Paul's lung required removal as a result of the injuries he suffered during the attack.[401]

Boucher's attorney, Matthew Baker, described it as "a very regrettable dispute between two neighbors over a matter that most people would regard as trivial."[400][402] According to a memorandum filed by Baker the dispute was over Paul repeatedly leaving tree yard debris near his property line with his neighbor.[403] Rand Paul and his wife deny this; they said that the "media" have "misrepresented" this "from the beginning" and that the attack was "politically motivated." They said that Boucher had threatened Donald Trump earlier and that he was "a vocal hater" of Trump and the GOP.[404]

Boucher was originally charged in Kentucky state court,[405] but was later charged in federal court, where he ultimately pleaded guilty to assaulting a member of Congress.[406] The state-court charge was dismissed after Boucher pleaded guilty to the federal charge.[406] Boucher was initially sentenced to 30 days in prison, one year of probation, 100 hours of community service, and a $10,000 fine. The federal prosecutors had sought a 21-month term and appealed the lenient sentence.[406]

In September 2019, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit vacated Boucher's sentence of 30 days, ruling it was unreasonably short, indicating "closer review" was in order, and the case was sent back to the lower court for resentencing.[407] An appeal to the Supreme Court was denied.[408] At his resentencing, Boucher received a prison term of eight months, plus another six months of home confinement, and was given credit for the 30 days he had previously served. Prosecutors felt the downward departure from their request for a 21-month sentence was too great, but the judge said Boucher's eight years in the military, being forced to sell his home to pay a $580,000 judgment assessed by the state court against him in the civil case brought by Paul, and his completed community service mitigated against any additional prison time. Boucher expressed his regrets and contrition for his attack.[409]

Ms Rand Paul is an ignorant cunt wearing a terrible rug.
