Oscar-nominated actor Graham Greene is dead to me!

So sad. He was wonderful in everything he ever did.

He was one of my favorites on Northern Exposure.

Cool guy. A reliable and talented "go-to" guy when it came to casting native North Americans of a certain age.

In the late '90s/early 2000s (when I was in high school) he was the host/narrator of The Discovery Channel series EXHIBIT A: SECRETS OF FORENSIC SCIENCE, which sparked my fascination with true crime and cold cases.

I thought he died earlier this year when he forgot to feed himself after his wife had a heart attack.

Did he achieve enough to be included in the Oscar in memorium segment?

He received an Oscar nomination for "Dances with Wolves" and also was in the Oscar-nominated "Green Mile" and "Transamerica."

R19, I would assume an Oscar nominee should be guaranteed to be included, but then again, the people who put together that segment always seem to mess up something about it every year.

He was in so much stuff and always very compelling and a great actor. RIP
