Young

DO you mean "CSI:NY," OP?

by Anonymousreply 3September 1, 2025 10:52 PM

I liked Stella Bonasera.

‘If I Could Only Remember My Name,’ by David Crosby is my favourite musical offering from any of the foursome. From a business perspective, Neil Young is to be lauded, although that may in part be due to the late Elliot Roberts.

George Eads because that ass and dimples made me feel funny.

Let’s be real: Stephen Stills was the master behind the music. While the others certainly made important contributions, Stills created the musical tone and wrote the beat songs

by Anonymousreply 7September 1, 2025 11:10 PM

He went through several hairdos, r6.

by Anonymousreply 8September 1, 2025 11:11 PM

I always thought Steve Stills was the most talented. He and Young wrote Everybody I Love You. I got that album in 1970, and still have it

by Anonymousreply 9September 1, 2025 11:27 PM

Stills was also a an exceptional guitarist with a unique tone, quite underaged in his skills

by Anonymousreply 10September 1, 2025 11:30 PM

Stephen Stills is one of the most talented musicians of our era, from songwriting to singing and brilliant guitar playing. But he has always been very mainstream, which Neil Young has not been. Young is either terrific or way off the mark. I don’t think Crosby or Nash were quite in the same league as Stills or Young.

I love proto-retard Neil Young but he was a horrible fit. CSN.

by Anonymousreply 12September 1, 2025 11:48 PM

They all brought something that the others didn’t. That said, Neil Young is still kicking so maybe a vote for him. Maybe some Canadian bias too. 😊

by Anonymousreply 13September 1, 2025 11:51 PM

Graham Nash is the most mild-mannered.

by Anonymousreply 14September 1, 2025 11:52 PM

Judy Collins

by Anonymousreply 15September 1, 2025 11:55 PM

I have to go with Norm Crosby.

by Anonymousreply 16September 2, 2025 12:05 AM

Graham was the nicest according to many, including Rita Coolidge.

I think they were all very talented - in different and complimentary ways.

I am yours, you are mine, we are what we are

Great lyrics well sung.

by Anonymousreply 18September 2, 2025 12:59 AM

This is painful.
