Guardian: Taylor Swift posting her engagement but not about Gaza is a "deliberate choice"

I’m so sick of the fucking Palestine/Israel debate having to be obsessed over by Americans. They’re all type of genocide, fucked up shit, decades long conflicts between ethnic groups happening all over the world. But we supposed obsessed over the shit because Jewish are white. You know that’s the reason. It’s fucking sickening. What about the Congo. What about our war zones right here in Chicago or New Orleans. Maybe she is passionate about other causes.

I can’t wait until a liberal democrats says there about a quarter of the population suffering form food insecurity and some of them are teens who may not graduate from high school. That’s what the fuck I’m passionate about.

A pop star has no obligation to comment on the Middle East political situation, of all things.

It's ridiculous, and she couldn't win anyway. If she posted about that, Fox News would spend hours laughing about "the pop star who thinks she's an expert on the Middle East."

She treats her employees insanely generously and gives away millions to food banks. That's plenty.
