Back in the early 2000s…

I began working at a company that was about an hour or more away from my home, depending on traffic.

I lived in a big city back then, (still live in a big city), so I made good use of my time listening to the radio or my CDs.

I’d listen to NPR, in the morning & then I’d turn on AM talk radio in the afternoon.

At that time, I didn’t understand why I was so captivated with AM talk radio, however, I now understand that I’d listen to it to keep my mind sharp.

How?

Well, AM radio was so full of bullshit & lies, it made my drive faster when I’d listen to silly banter, & debate who ever was spewing the bullshit. I found it amusing, because I was too naive to understand that others were listening to the same shit, & were actually taking it seriously. I had no idea that there were millions of people across America who were listening to the same bullshit from their local AM stations, & believed the disinformation, 100%.

I lived in a true blue bubble, & it wasn’t until 2015, that I finally recognized that a specific electorate of our country, had been bamboozled into believing things that just weren’t factual or true.

It took me moving to America’s south to understand just how deceived MANY Americans are.

It was absolutely a shock to my system, & I want to make it VERY clear that what shocked me the most was how easily people are ready to believe bullshit, simply because they refuse to step out of their bubbles, & see the other side of things.

I did step out of my bubble, & I did see the other side of things. It’s complicated, however, in the final analysis, I now know it remains complicated, because people are unwilling to educate themselves with facts.
