Watching that SHITSHOW reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer
Freddie Prinze Jr. The guy has the kind of coloring that normally ages well. WHAT THE FUCK.
This guy looks 62. Is this the product of just enjoying life and hanging in the sun?
He looks like what 50 would have been in the 70's, not these days.
Or did SMG just age him!
Good god!

He had spinal surgery at the end of 2020, which required him having to learn to walk again.

Prinze had a near-death experience during filming of the original 1997 film boat scene. He still dislikes the director Jim Gillespie because of how he treated Freddie during filming.
I wonder if that accident was the beginning of his back problems.
His back surgery was actually in 2014. The 2020 date I mentioned came from date of the article, which was when the article was updated, not originally posted.

R1- HOLY FUCK! I am so sorry- God bless the guy. And no joke, his opening scene was lit and shot horribly,- I typed this then.
He actually looked better in the other scenes too.

It was a totally unnecessary remake/reboot. Apparently, a lot of the film was reshot/reworked after disastrous test screenings.

R5 You're off the hook, OP. His wife later made it clear that Freddie was exaggerating when he posted he was learning to walk again after surgery.
[Quote] PEOPLE caught up with Sarah Michelle Gellar at the 4th annual Santa’s Secret Workshop at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday, and the star said there’s no need to worry about her husband, who’s been posting about his recovery on Twitter.
[Quote] “You mean ‘learning how to walk’? I can’t even,” Gellar, 37, replied when asked about Prinze’s progress. “I’m not joking, our mail woman – God bless her heart – was like, ‘I prayed for you, Freddie, and it worked, you’re walking.’ ”
[Quote] “He’s fine,” Gellar told reporters. “He did have very serious surgery, there’s no question, but his learning how to walk again has been greatly exaggerated.”
[Quote] And is the dad of two taking advantage of that as she helps him heal?
[Quote] “I plead the fifth,” she said, laughing and nodding her head.
