Man Documents Full-Facial & 95% of Body Tattoo Removal
A man once known for having the most tattoos in Brazil is revealing his jaw-dropping transformation after having multiple surgeries to remove the ink. After getting his first tattoo at the age of 13, Leandro de Souza, from Bagé, a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, went on to cover 95% of his body in ink. His obsession with body modification led to him being officially crowned the most tattooed man in the nation at the Santa Rosa International Tattoo Expo in 2023, Brazilian news outlets G1 and O Globo reported.
The 36-year-old photographer once claimed his appearance made finding work difficult and that he had to live in a shelter for a while, per CNN Brazil. Since converting to evangelical Christianity around two years ago, Souza fell out of love with his tattoos and has been documenting the painful removal process on Instagram.

Wait - are you telling me somebody who covers 95% of their body in tattoos and makes their face into a skull - that he had mental issues and a drug problem?
I don't believe it.

If he's living in shelters, chronically unemployed, etc.- who's paying for the removals?

Yes it is very hard to believe R3. It looks like he might have found god - judging by all the bible pics on his Instagram...

Another example of just how much headway evangelicals have made in Brazil. They were better off when the Catholics had a monopoly in their religious market.

So some of these people DO regret these tattoos...see Pete Davidson for another example.
I'm not totally against tattoos (I have one) I just think they shouldn't be a decision willy nilly.

I remember Cher said about 25 years ago she was getting hers removed because at that time 'everyone was getting them'. It was no longer different for a woman to get a tattoo.
