Walk less than 3 miles an hour and you can’t finish the movie.

I could do that. I go on six mile walks every night.

I’ll miss the end of the movie? Thank god, I’m not walking.

by Anonymousreply 2August 29, 2025 9:29 PM

Where are the fat acceptance looks to shriek about this?

by Anonymousreply 3August 30, 2025 5:45 AM

The trailer for the movie makes it look incredibly dull.

by Anonymousreply 4August 30, 2025 9:12 AM

I won't bothering seeing it because the recent IT and Salem's Lot remakes were so disappointing. It's a bad era for Stephen King adaptations.

by Anonymousreply 5August 30, 2025 1:18 PM

I would do this.

by Anonymousreply 6August 30, 2025 1:58 PM

Those movies have nothing to do with this one r5. Stephen King didn’t direct them. This has a different director than those did sweetie

by Anonymousreply 7August 30, 2025 1:59 PM

R4 Really? I thought it was surprising that they showed the exit wound of the bullet. Most American films would cut away.

by Anonymousreply 8August 30, 2025 2:27 PM

Influencers? Can't they just shoot them rather than kicking them out? Make the world a better place while you have the chance!

by Anonymousreply 9August 30, 2025 3:35 PM

I'm aware that Stephen King did not personally write, direct, film or cater any of those movies, r7. My point was that King adaptations have been on a losing streak and there's no reason to think this newest one will buck the trend. The CBS Stand miniseries was also shit.

Presuming the movie is about two hours, that would mean you walk around six miles at a leisurely pace. Only fatties couldn't keep up.

by Anonymousreply 11August 30, 2025 7:06 PM

Six miles in two hours would be at level 3 on the treadmill

I’d do it. The book is devastating. I can’t wait to see the movie.
