Trump cancels Kamala Harris’ Secret Service detail that was extended by undisclosed Biden order

Trump’s ending of Harris’ protection comes as she soon embarks on a multi-city, high-profile book tour around the release of “107 Days,” her new memoir on her short presidential campaign, set to be released September 23. That will put her more in the public spotlight than she has been since leaving office, during which time she’s attended only a few public events.

Kamala's hubby, Doug Emhoff, is a partner at the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher, which reached an agreement with former President Donald Trump’s administration in early April 2025 to avert punitive executive action. Under that deal, the firm committed to providing at least $100 million in pro bono legal services toward mutually agreed causes with the Trump White House. He could have resigned but the big cash cow money it pays trumped principal. He has more than enough money to pay for security. Why does the US taxpayer need to pay at this time? Not even a MAGA here, just a moderate Dem who is sick of all politicians.
