She still lived in a shithole. Her story was bogus but her living arrangements weren’t. She didn’t want to work. Money doesn’t last forever. In that book Madonna: A Rebel Life they go into it even deeper. Madonna told Christopher to come out to NYC and be one of her dancers twice. She said he could stay with her. Each time he showed up she said he couldn’t stay there. lol Madonna told the audience on her last tour that she traded blowjobs for showers. She’s not exactly covering it up anymore. Say what you will about their father but he seemingly isn’t impressed by her and treats them all the same and chose to live a hardworking life. Madonna had to beg him to take any financial help she wanted to give him. She invested in their vineyard business. That’s about all. She barely would accept a John Deere lawn mower from her. Madonna got where she is because of him and that Italian Midwest work ethic he instilled in her. He gave her something to rebel against. She now says that he wouldn’t give her a dime when she moved to NYC and was horrified by her living arrangements because he wanted her to come home.
