There ARE hot guys in Minneapolis, definitely. But overall, it's not a particularly high concentration of hot guys. The mayor is Minneapolis with it's best foot forward. Plus, he's a mayor - and I think he's benefiting from being a relatively hot mayor, not relatively not for all guys. Not that he isn't good looking.

For a small city, Minneapolis has a large gay population. If you're into German and Swedish types you can't do much better, but not much from the southern part of the continent . A surprising number of Fortune 500s have offices here as well as a large creative pool. And the water is excellent.
