Chaka Khan isn’t a Republican, R163! In fact, she’s very radical left with her political views and was once a member of the Black Panther Party in the 70s. Appearing on the 700 Club doesn’t automatically make you a Republican, many Black performers go on there because of their Christian beliefs.
