Whenever the right attacks social changes, it tries to scare us by invoking how children will be ruined.
Let’s list the ways children are used as pawns for political power:
I’ll start with the Dont Say Gay and anti-CRT laws. Both said children are being hurt by all the instruction they were apparently try getting about gays and Blacks in kindergarten. They were passed to stop any such instruction (no school was actually given instruction like that, but that’s besides the point). Right after the Don’t say Gay laws were passed, De Santis pushed the regulations all the way up to 12th grade.

I recall so many TV and newspaper stories of gay men getting arrested when cruising in parks in the late evenings. There was ALWAYS some quote or commentary about what if children saw what they were doing?
If a child is in the park at 11 pm, their straight parents, should be the ones arrested.

For me the worst was one of the victims of Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. The kid missed her curfew and the parents' rule was "you miss curfew, you're not allowed in"
She ended up molested and dead.
