So random, unreported, except for a clear insider here many months ago
I am dreading Diane Keaton dying!
I 100% believe that she has dementia(her Instagram went from many videos to none, all of her projects are delayed)
There are 5 people that I don't want to see die
Kate Bush
Tori Amos
Diane Keaton
Jessica Lange
Stevie Nicks ( I am not really a fan anymore because she really is a spoiled egotist- but I cannot deny that I cannot imagine a world without her in it!)

Op you have any proof outside of what you stated. Thats a far fetched conclusion to make. On a side note, is dementia rising? Any studies on it? Perhaps just perception bias as huge population is now entering their “old” phase and also not typically dying in late 70s.

Geez I don’t feel this way about anybody. Well maybe the two remaining Beatles. I haven’t felt this way since Frank Sinatra died.

[quote] is dementia rising?
If so, it’s a function of an aging society.

I know IMDB pre-production credits are fairly random, but Keaton has four of them. I hope she's OK.

OP here. Goddamn.. I told you guys- the poster here about a year ago had mentioned it a few times. He knew Diane's sister (I believe through the New Mexico furniture that she specializes in) And the sister told him that Diane was fading fast. I knew when I saw all of those IMDB projects on hold/pre production that it was true. And her Instagram presence went from many live videos of her to only photos - it was a jarring change.
She was the partner/spokesperson for some kind of cookware/homeware line and she did zero live promotion for it- It was all photos- it was very strange.
I have a feeling that this was an open secret in Hollywood and that will come out soon.
To me it looks like that she faded quickly-
OR this is an unrelated heart attack or something- and it will never even come out that she had dementia.
I am going to watch Shoot The Moon in her memory- She was amazing in it-

And sorry all, I never came back and defended myself-
(Meaning giving the details of the poster here who knew Diane's sister- when they said this here it was TOO random to not be true- You can just tell)
The only video I saw in the last 2 years was last summer? She was walking (shakily) on the street with that Marla chick who used to be married to that prick from that show. (Sorry- I am bad with details) She also played a casting director on The Comeback- She is in that hilarious scene when Valerie says she can get Tom Selleck for Room and Board to raise its ratings-
I will miss this woman. I highly recommend her two books that she wrote (the autobiographies)

Hi OP. That was me. My friend is very close to Diane’s sister Dorrie, and is also in real estate. The three spent a lot of time in PS, and Diane had a house in Tucson. Haven’t spoken to him yet, but I’m sure he’s a wreck. I suspected things were deteriorating very quickly when he told me that Diane was all set to move to a care facility in PS (she loved it out there), but back in April or May suddenly decided to stay in her house in Brentwood and opt for home care. Such a sad day.

R30- THANK YOU for showing up.
I knew you were the real deal (Sadly) I could just tell by your manner, and you were not an asshole about it.
Thanks for preparing me. (I knew when her Instagram changed that it was coming)

I went and watched Shoot The Moon and Mrs Soffell.
This bitch was ONE OF A KIND.
I have never even seen Manhattan Murder Mysteries, despite being a Woody Allen fan-
I will check that one out next weekend
And check out her 2 books (the autobiographies) Highly recommended- They both are so poignant now, hearing(reading) a woman in her late 60's/early 70's pondering life and death.
She is one of the greats. Utterly special-

R45-
69 69 69 69 69 69-
May the lord bless you-
I must continue to mention R30- He was the connection to Diane- Their post resonated and horrified me. And I knew it was true. I am thankful because it pretty much prepared me for what was coming- (I knew when she had a sunglasses and homeware line and she was just doing Instagram photos)
I would not be surprised if Diane died of natural causes despite having dementia--
I am empathic but not a psychic! R30- Thanks again.
Highly recommend Diane's books again- Really well written and charming just like her- And now even more moving.
I think there is a saying in the Bible- We shall not pass this way again.
There will never, ever be a human like this lady again-

Prime has pushed a lot of her movies to the top of their queue. I didn’t know she’d made so many movies in the last few years. I hadn’t heard of most of them before.

Top 10 off the top of my head:
1) Annie Hall; 2) Shoot the Moon; 3) Goodbar; 4) Sleeper; 5) The Family Stone; 6) Something's Gotta Give; 7) Love and Death; 8) Godfather 2; 9) Godfather 3 (not mentioned much, but she was terrific!); and finally....
10) THIS Letterman appearance. possibly for the outfit alone. The 4:15 moment, I remember falling out of my chair the first time watching it.
