We haven't had a recent thread about her.
Stunningly beautiful in “The Third Man”.
Aging in “Eyes Without a Face”.
Terrifying in “Suspiria”.

I was listening to a Lux Radio Theater (ask your great-grandparents) adaptation of "The Miracle of the Bells." All three leads (Fred MacMurray, Alida Valli, and Frank Sinatra) reprised their roles from the film version.

"Frauenberg" sounds like it would be a city full of Frauen.

It was said in Hollywood that she had the stinkiest farts in the history of showbiz. Lou Costello said they could peel the paint off a Sherman tank.

In my opinion not an especially interesting actress and very overrated as a beauty.
She is seen to best advantage in “The Third Man.”
But there is always something closed and tense and oblivious about her.
