Penis problem

I know I’ll get the DL treatment for asking this, but any ideas what this might be?

Burning sensation when urinating, frequent need to urinate, feeling of need to urinate after urination ceases. Accompanied by rash/sores on scrotum. Slight numbness on penis.

Negative STD, negative UTI, prostate PSA levels very healthy.

As you might have intuited from the above, yes I’m getting medical advice. But they don’t seem to know what it is yet. Ideas, Doctor Datalounge?

by Anonymousreply 76August 25, 2025 12:50 PM

I'd ask for your stuff, but I don't want the germs.

by Anonymousreply 1August 22, 2025 5:05 PM

No idea but can I have your stuff?

by Anonymousreply 2August 22, 2025 5:05 PM

Is that a drip or are you happy to see me?

by Anonymousreply 3August 22, 2025 5:06 PM

Are you the guy who went to the bathhouse last Saturday night?

by Anonymousreply 4August 22, 2025 5:07 PM

Very likely penile cancer, OP. Get those tumour markers checked, stat.

by Anonymousreply 5August 22, 2025 5:08 PM

Molly, you in danger, girl.

by Anonymousreply 6August 22, 2025 5:09 PM

Have you swam in the Amazon recently OP, sounds a case of the Candiru fish (Vandellia cirrhosa), a parasitic catfish from the Amazon River basin, which is legendary for entering the human urethra.

by Anonymousreply 7August 22, 2025 5:15 PM

I told you to stop waiving that thing around.

by Anonymousreply 8August 22, 2025 5:20 PM

I knew a guy who had a penis problem like this once.

It fell off!

by Anonymousreply 9August 22, 2025 5:28 PM

Ha ha the DL treatment on schedule.

by Anonymousreply 10August 22, 2025 5:35 PM

Did you see a urologist, or just your PCP?

They just say they don't know what it is? The first 3 symptoms are usually enlarged prostate symptoms, but you could also have chronic prostatitis, or chronic pelvic pain sydrome. Do you have normal blood sugar?

But none of that explains the rash and sores.

by Anonymousreply 11August 22, 2025 5:36 PM

R4- That was me. I had a checkup in late June and I had the doctor check for STD/STI's and I was clean as a whistle- fortunately.

by Anonymousreply 12August 22, 2025 5:42 PM

It's called Spontaneous Transition. How are the tits?

by Anonymousreply 13August 22, 2025 5:52 PM

They’re luscious r13 🍒

by Anonymousreply 14August 22, 2025 6:35 PM

I’ve had prostatitis before and had similar symptoms.

by Anonymousreply 15August 22, 2025 7:10 PM

Were you bitten by a radioactive spider?

by Anonymousreply 16August 22, 2025 7:13 PM

Yeast infection. Yes, men get them

by Anonymousreply 17August 22, 2025 7:22 PM

R17, thanks. But the UTI result was negative.

R15, that’s what my Google fu led me to as well. Guess we’ll see.

by Anonymousreply 18August 22, 2025 7:47 PM

Where's Dr. House when we really need him?

OP: This condition might be two separate things you're experiencing simultaneously, have the professionals gone at it from that angle? Are the sores painful or itchy? Allergic to anything?

by Anonymousreply 19August 22, 2025 8:04 PM

Have you seen a nephrologist? A kidney specialist.

Those are also some symptoms of kidney problems.

by Anonymousreply 20August 22, 2025 8:13 PM

UTI? Kidney infection? Kidney stones?

by Anonymousreply 21August 22, 2025 8:16 PM

U got the syph. C ya!

by Anonymousreply 22August 22, 2025 8:16 PM

OP, it sounds like cystitis. My brother had it.

by Anonymousreply 23August 22, 2025 8:23 PM

Neither prostatitis nor cystitis cause rash/sores on the scrotum.

by Anonymousreply 24August 22, 2025 8:27 PM

Do your balls hang in there toilet water? Maybe you’re having an allergic reaction to your toilet cleanser

by Anonymousreply 25August 22, 2025 8:47 PM

R23 wouldn't they have tested him for that?

by Anonymousreply 26August 22, 2025 8:52 PM

Bacterial infection from sounding, I'd venture to guess.

Whore.

by Anonymousreply 27August 22, 2025 9:56 PM

I'm guessing fungal infection. Also, have them RETEST you for UTI and prostate; you have come back as a false negative.

by Anonymousreply 28August 22, 2025 10:16 PM

STD?

by Anonymousreply 29August 22, 2025 11:02 PM

You get these queens going with "penis," you weirdo. Go to the fucking doctor.

by Anonymousreply 30August 22, 2025 11:09 PM

Have you welcomed the Lord into your life? Do you accept sweet baby Jesus as your Saviour? This sounds like Satan’s influence to me.

by Anonymousreply 31August 22, 2025 11:30 PM

go to another doctor.

by Anonymousreply 32August 22, 2025 11:54 PM

Slight numbness on the penis? Stop jerking off!

by Anonymousreply 33August 23, 2025 12:05 AM

[Quote] Go to the fucking doctor.

I fucking have, my love.

by Anonymousreply 34August 23, 2025 12:06 AM

The burning sounds like a kidney infection, but the accompanying rash on the scrote leaves me perplexed. You need to see a doctor. I have to wonder if there's something in your urine that is dripping onto your balls that is causing the rash.

by Anonymousreply 35August 23, 2025 12:16 AM

Sores and a rash could be herpes, which won’t be tested on an STD panel. 90% don’t know they have it.

by Anonymousreply 36August 23, 2025 12:19 AM

OP have you been to any gay parks lately? Because I have and it was terrific.......As for your infected cock I got nothin'. Sorry.

by Anonymousreply 37August 23, 2025 12:20 AM

If it is not STD, then you have inflamed urinary tract and bladder, and could be also affecting your prostate. I had this for almost a year without any improvement, and then a friend recommended that I take sarsaparilla root, which is a natural anti-inflammatory. The link below is the best product on the market with no added alcohol, which negates the effective properties of the sarsaparilla. Each night put two full droplets of the tincture into half a glass of water, stir and drink, shortly before going to sleep. It tastes like cola but without the fizz. And avoid any alcohol until your symptoms are completely gone. Also limit your coffee intake, no more than one cup a day. You should notice an improvement in just a few days. You probably need to do this daily for at least a month.

See a urologist.

by Anonymousreply 39August 23, 2025 1:24 AM

Douse your unit liberally with Dr. Tichenor’s. Will clear your problem right up!

by Anonymousreply 40August 23, 2025 1:31 AM

[quote]Sores and a rash could be herpes, which won’t be tested on an STD panel. 90% don’t know they have it.

That's similar to what my (physician) wife said when I read her OP's symptoms. She said that in his shoes (or scrotum, if you prefer), she'd start by checking what was included in the panel and getting tested for any STIs that were missing. Also, if the testing was done by urine sample, it might miss some STIs, like gonorrhea (or less commonly, chlamydia), that can cause urethritis, in which case retesting should be done with a swab.

by Anonymousreply 41August 23, 2025 1:56 AM

The end result of holding a “no loads refused party” at the Days Inn!

by Anonymousreply 42August 23, 2025 4:13 AM

Were the lemon squares worth it OP?

by Anonymousreply 43August 23, 2025 9:02 AM

OP says this: "As you might have intuited from the above, yes I’m getting medical advice. But they don’t seem to know what it is yet. Ideas, Doctor Datalounge?"

Which is vaguely worded - medical advice? Doctor examinations? But importantly this, which is perfectly clear: "But they don’t seem to know what it is yet."

Then a dozen dim witted DL pipe in, helpfully, "you should see a doctor".

by Anonymousreply 44August 23, 2025 9:19 AM

Sounds like rabies. Drink plenty of water because rabies makes you thirsty.

by Anonymousreply 45August 23, 2025 9:26 AM

Penis cancer. Get your affairs in order. And make a plaster mould of your penis while you still have it.

by Anonymousreply 46August 23, 2025 1:54 PM

So what is on STD panel when they test you?

by Anonymousreply 47August 23, 2025 2:22 PM

[Quote] See a urologist.

I already have.

Update: my throat is sore and my face and eyes feel faintly burning.

by Anonymousreply 48August 23, 2025 3:24 PM

[Quote] Then a dozen dim witted DL pipe in, helpfully, "you should see a doctor".

Yes but this happens all over social media now, not just DL.

by Anonymousreply 49August 23, 2025 3:25 PM

Thank you r38.

by Anonymousreply 50August 23, 2025 3:26 PM

Probably your prostate. Get it checked. Something that should be done irregardless.

by Anonymousreply 51August 23, 2025 3:38 PM

It’s long COVID.

Maybe interstitial cystitis? You can keep your stuff, if that’s the case.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 54August 23, 2025 7:21 PM

R54 That requires a special test, I've had the test a couple times (didn't have interstitial cystitis).

by Anonymousreply 55August 23, 2025 7:25 PM

Is it an otherwise photogenic pp?

by Anonymousreply 56August 23, 2025 7:26 PM

Prostate problems can cause sores and rash?

by Anonymousreply 57August 23, 2025 7:27 PM

If I were you I would see a doctor!

by Anonymousreply 58August 23, 2025 8:13 PM

Why see a doctor when you have Datalounge??

by Anonymousreply 59August 23, 2025 8:18 PM

OP...all these symptoms, and tests, and then...what? the doctor just gave up?

by Anonymousreply 60August 23, 2025 8:18 PM

this is a classic long game troll thread.

by Anonymousreply 61August 23, 2025 8:21 PM

I assume you've had a repeat UTI test? They can be false negative.

by Anonymousreply 62August 23, 2025 8:23 PM

"I've had all the tests and seen all the specialists and nobody can diagnose me. Do you have any ideas? Now my face is burning. Flames, on the side of my face! And my fingernails are blue. But only in the morning. Sometimes I see dandelions for floaters in my eyes."

[quote] Update: my throat is sore and my face and eyes feel faintly burning.

I had chronic sore throat for months. Saw internal medicine physician twice and another practitioner in a cardiology facility. They didn’t determine it was a virus or bronchial infection or anything such as cancer.

I decided to go to an ENT specialist. He inserted a tube through my nose, and looked at my throat deeply with photo Imaging. He nailed the problem. The cause was due to irritation as a result of acid reflex. He gave me a new medication that cleared it up quickly. I am still taking it daily.

by Anonymousreply 64August 24, 2025 2:43 PM

^reflux

by Anonymousreply 65August 24, 2025 2:53 PM

Yeah, I don't mean this sarcastically but if you have a throat problem, an ear, nose and throat doctor should be who you see. I had a sort of similar problem, I felt like I couldn't breathe. It was also acid reflux (though he didn't insert the tube. I've had that done subsequently). Avoid tomatoes and tomato sauce if you're over 50 or so.

by Anonymousreply 69August 24, 2025 4:51 PM

[quote]Update: my throat is sore and my face and eyes feel faintly burning.

Did your previous tests include one for mpox? Typically the sore throat precedes the rash but some people have unusual presentations that include both of those things (and might also report eye issues).

by Anonymousreply 70August 24, 2025 5:34 PM

Sounds bacterial. Get some antibiotics.

by Anonymousreply 71August 24, 2025 5:45 PM

R71 also I would check for fungal infection if something is itchy and have it tested. It's easy to grow a culture at a lab and isn't expensive. Other questions: Have you changed your soap or laundry detergent lately? Do you eat irrationally spicy food like original Indonesian spice level? Do you wash your new clothes, particularly underwear, before wearing them for the first time?

by Anonymousreply 72August 24, 2025 6:24 PM

isn't there a place in NYC where you can get free STD tests?

by Anonymousreply 73August 24, 2025 6:25 PM

Hi r72:

No

No

No (but I haven’t bought any new clothes recently)

by Anonymousreply 74August 24, 2025 6:41 PM

by Anonymousreply 75August 24, 2025 9:21 PM

I’m diagnosing an EST. Keep posting the new symptoms as you get them and keep the thread going.
