Close enough, R1

He is mentally ill. Lost cause.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 21, 2025 6:12 PM |
“ I fought the fuck BACK!”
What a complete lying asshole.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 21, 2025 6:12 PM |
Waste of space. Doesn't deserve a platform. Begone.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 21, 2025 6:13 PM |
Fuck Netflix.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 21, 2025 6:13 PM |
He is astoundingly guilty. This maaaaybe there were white men there? Is below bottom feeding tv. Pure shit. Cancel Netflix.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 21, 2025 6:17 PM |
The Prince did not kill his sister Netflix.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 21, 2025 6:17 PM |
Trump should have Pam Bondi roast him for trying to ignite a race war. That would play perfectly with his base—and serve as yet another Epstein distraction.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 21, 2025 6:21 PM |
[quote]sorry, it's JUSSIE
It's also SMOLLETT.
Two words, and you managed to get them both wrong. Brava, OP!

Actor Jussie Smollett is making a return to television this fall, six years after an alleged 2019 hate crime scandal.
The 42-year-old actor will be joining the fourth season of the reality competition program "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" alongside 17 other celebrities. The show puts the contestants through military-style special forces training, and the upcoming season will be set in Morocco, according to a press release from Fox.
Smollett will appear alongside other notable athletes, artists, and personalities, including married couples Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker -- a former NFL player and country music singer, respectively -- and former NFL player Andrew East and retired Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson East.

Pam, you dumb sycophant cunt, do your job!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 21, 2025 6:23 PM |
How long before he drops the race bit and calls it an antisemitic hate crime?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 21, 2025 6:39 PM |
Encore cette salope?

The bar on "celebrity" just keeps getting lower.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 21, 2025 6:42 PM |
He looks good at least. Better than before, imo.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 21, 2025 6:50 PM |
His sister is in that show Smoke on Apple+ I'm assuming she's a big ol lez? She sure comes across as one.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 21, 2025 7:44 PM |
He should become the spokesperson for Celebrity Cruise line!!!

Jesse is being protected by Tyler Perry.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 21, 2025 8:35 PM |
Netflix giving him a platform is yet another reason I'm glad I cancelled my subscription. Race baiting cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 21, 2025 8:36 PM |
This is right up there with the Shari Papini documentary in terms of believability.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 21, 2025 8:49 PM |
As soon as his Netflix special clears his name, Jussie will announce his engagement to Stephen Glass. A June wedding shall be planned. Madea will officiate.

Rhymes with Mussie.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 21, 2025 9:19 PM |
Didn't his hot black friends admit to being in on it?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 21, 2025 9:23 PM |
I thought he was convicted for making this up.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 21, 2025 9:28 PM |
He did, but he got his record cleared. And yes, the two brothers admitted to helping him stage the attack.
I don’t understand the purpose of this. We all know he’s lying and he knows he’s lying.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 21, 2025 9:45 PM |
Who ok’d the “documentary”
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 21, 2025 9:48 PM |
If you watch the trailer it is a "two-sides" documentary. Lots of experts and testimony about the faked attack, and they a few wacky "it could be true" contrarians. This kind of media is COMPLETE SHIT and Netflix should be ashamed for producing it or buying it.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 21, 2025 9:55 PM |
Juicy Smoo-Yay
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 22, 2025 12:54 AM |
Whoever believed his story to begin with? On a historically cold night in Chicago when there was a polar vortex he goes out at two in the morning to get a sandwich and the only other people on the street are 2 guys wearing MAGAs hat who just happened to have a rope and some caustic liquid.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 22, 2025 1:00 AM |
Complete POS. Glad I don’t have Netflix. Not that I’d watch but I’m glad I don’t give them my money.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 22, 2025 1:06 AM |
When I saw Netflix made this, I assumed Jussie must be ready to admit the truth. I figured this would be a public confession, expression of regret and mea culpa to revive his dead career. That’s the only way it made sense. Instead this asshole will sit up there telling that same boneheaded story? 🤦♂️ Your Netflix subscription money hard at work.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 22, 2025 1:26 AM |
R22 I'm pretty sure that his fiancé is named George, George Glass.

Hollywood Reporter:
The thing I appreciate most about Netflix's The Truth About Jussie Smollett? is that darned question mark. Gagan Rehill's 86-minute documentary seems to actually be aware of its biggest problem, which is that it doesn't come CLOSE to offering viewers anything resembling the "truth" of the 2019 assault or lie involving the Empire star
I've never seen a documentary in which every participant came across as so collectively unconvincing. I didn't learn anything from The Truth About Jussie Smollett? nor was my perspective materially changed, but confirmation bias is so baked into this story that it might as well be a secondary character.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 22, 2025 9:02 PM |
I was shocked as hell anyone believed it in the first place. 15 years I've lived in Chicago and I've never so much as heard of anyone here daring to express public support for Trump in hushed tones in the middle of a rowdy douche bar, let alone wear a MAGA hat right out in the open.
Obviously there are people who very quietly vote for Trump in Chicago, but MAGA as a culture is just not done here.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 23, 2025 5:09 AM |
The "celebrity" bar on Season 4 is so low it's a tripping hazard.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 23, 2025 5:45 AM |
I don’t care what the guy did to deserve so much scorn, I really want him in me, deeply
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 23, 2025 6:49 AM |
Yes, R37. He has no conscience, but his cock and ass are pretty compelling.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 23, 2025 4:38 PM |
Will he be showing his dick?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 23, 2025 4:54 PM |
R37 have some self respect. Smollett is mentally ill and morally bankrupt. Hot dick is a dime a dozen if you aren't a decrepit old man. Are you?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 23, 2025 8:16 PM |
Mentally ill? Morally bankrupt, I can see.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 23, 2025 8:27 PM |
He's a malignant narcissist.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 23, 2025 8:30 PM |
He is trying to pull off an Al Sharpton by tying himself to a larger agenda so people forgive and forget what a grifter he is.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 23, 2025 8:33 PM |
He was hot in 2015, but now, not so much.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 23, 2025 8:42 PM |
It always sticks in my craw Rachel Maddow treating Rev Dr Al Sharpton as a serious person.

by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 23, 2025 8:47 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 23, 2025 8:47 PM |
[quote]Jesse Smollet keeps DIGGING his GRAVE
Well, I'm certainly not gonna.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 23, 2025 8:47 PM |
I hate-watched this trash yesterday. I still don’t know why Netflix would produce it except as a part of its “Trainwreck” series. The only thing I took from it is that Jussie would be perhaps the most eminently fuckable gay celeb if he wasn’t a batshit crazy narcissist. He destroyed a very promising career.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 23, 2025 9:17 PM |
Yes the fact that he is very cute makes it all the more deplorable.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 24, 2025 12:31 AM |
Why didn’t Sarah Jessica just go for the whole woke enchilada and make Jussie Smollett Anthony’s love interest instead of the generic young, hung Italian? They could’ve tossed Patti LuPone in as EPCOT’s mother and finally given her something bigger to do besides lurking in the background and fighting with Anthony. A good tongue lashing by Patti to EPCOT would have been epic.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 24, 2025 1:25 AM |
We've already had the definitive take on this nonsense.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 24, 2025 1:29 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 24, 2025 2:39 AM |
Which one, R55?
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 24, 2025 7:17 AM |
I knew the story Jussie made up was bullshit from the start. It made absolutely no sense. I was surprised in how it turned out, though. I figured he was on Grindr hook-up gone bad/got catfished and didn't want to admit it. I had no idea he had set up the whole thing. How unbelievably stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 24, 2025 9:32 AM |
Oh my, R58
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 24, 2025 5:48 PM |
The f who is Netflix handing our money? Apalling.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 24, 2025 6:14 PM |
Why is Jussie still talked about? Lowlife piece of you know what.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 24, 2025 6:15 PM |
I agree they make some of the worst decisions when it comes to who they develop projects with.
I guess enough time has gone by that Jussie thinks he can change the narrative, but I’d be surprised if he did that in a meaningful way. This new evidence is quite flimsy.
The brothers who confessed to helping him don’t want to be a part of this narrative anymore and Jussie has taken advantage of that.
