I don't know who she is but she should STFU.

This is how Republicans will make it impossible for the Democratic Party to again win in future. i.e. What Orbán has done to the political system in Hungary. Hungary still has elections - but only Orbán's party can win.

So if that's what she wants?

Oh, yes, they can. This isn’t ancient Babylon. There are abundant records, videos , texts, etc of who did it first. Everyone except you will know why democrats did it. You will be in the dark, apparently.

Unfortunately, where it is possible, we have to match every measure they take unless those measures are in violation of the law. We can only hope that the resulting chaos eventually brings the country to its senses, and we implement measures that prevent both sides from doing so. I don’t expect that to happen for decades, if ever.

The only reason MAGA voters will ever come to oppose any horrible measure is if it affects them. There is too much evidence at this point to deny that. That's why we need to turn every measure they use against us against them. At every opportunity. I don't know if it will ever bring them to their senses, but it's the only plausible way to try. And, in addition, retaliation has the current benefit of preserving our democracy to the best of our ability. Everyone knows that the Republicans are in a precarious position in the next election and that is why they are taking these measures. Retaliating is our only hope of achieving the outcome we would have achieved without their anti-democratic measures.

It would be an absurd overstatement to compare the administration's current policies to the those of the Nazis in their level of evil, but I do think that if Trump started imposing Nazi policies, a significant share of his base would find reasons to support them. I don't think that is an overstatement in any form.

You forgot to post the best part, She thinks the majority of Republicans that hold seats should be working on passing bipartisan legislation to fix this.

Where has she been the last twenty years?

They got a taste of absolute power now and won't let it go, fully knowing 2028 is Dems' to lose if they play by the rules. And some DLers still want to believe politics will get back to business as usual as soon as Trump croaks.
