Rep. Miller-Meeks (R-IA) Tweets about "NO TAX ON TIPS" While Revealing Herself to be a CHEAP CUNT!

The vulnerable Iowa congresswoman, a former optical surgeon, boasted about visiting with a waitress who was thrilled about the "no tax on tips" provision of Trump's shitheaded tax bill.

And she posted a photo of the receipt ($17, or $18.19 after tax) and the cash she left on the table ($21 and a few coins). Twitter wags are rightfully calling the old cow a real tightwad for boasting about leaving a three-dollar tip.

Her spokesperson, who has a salty tongue like a proper Iowa homosexual, pushed back hard, saying she did indeed tip 20% and it's a better tip than a Democrat would've left!

Too bad the truth is there is STILL a tax on tips. Waiters will get a deduction up to a certain amount ($25k) but there is still a tax on tips.

The truth is no tipped employee was reported cash tips to the IRS. All of this is political theater.

The irony is, poor people will have to pay a larger percentage of their salary as taxes with this law. Sure, you get a deduction for tips, but then you lose you’re saving with the higher tax rate.

The rich need their money, after all

What am I missing? 20% would be $3.64 and the $21 + coins would have been around that.

R4 She should have thrown a 5 dollar bill down. Cheap cunt.

by Anonymousreply 5August 20, 2025 7:05 PM

Her kind figure they don't need to leave as much, since it's not taxed.

"It's the Trump-awarded no-tax bonus!"

It's a ploy by the restaurant industry lobby in order to keep the wages low.

That she's a cunt

She is a prime target for defeat in 2026. She barely wins at it is in red wave years.

How do poor, rethug-voting Americans NOT SEE HOW SHADY every gd thing republicans do is, and how it's always just to help the rich get richer?
