They're some of the funnier, wittier members of DL. I only wish I were one of them, but I'm afraid that train has passed.

R5, General Hospital is quite good right now, and I have only been watching since June.

Other than budget and platform, what's the difference between The White Lotus and General Hospital? For the most part, all shows are soaps now. Even movies have become soaps. Comics are soaps. I'm not sure why some feel the need to single out one specific genre as less than when they're all basically the same.

R7, of course it's because daytime soaps have traditionally been marketed to women because they were sponsored by products housewives traditionally used. for housework. Even though so many other dramas use the exact same format, they are not marketed that way and escape that stigma.

The P&G soap threads are some of the respectful, knowledgeable conversations you will see on DL. They rarely get nasty, and most of those posters really know their stuff.
