I may get banned for this, but back in 2006 or '07 I predicted on this very site that as soon as gays had the right to marry, serve openly in the military, and achieved widespread acceptance even among right-wingers, that white (and white-identified) gays would GALLOP away from the Black Civil rights armor they'd worn since the early 70s, and would trumpet themselves as mainstream whites.
