TV star Billy Porter blasted over 'replaced the Jews' line while promoting new musical
Award-winning actor Billy Porter has sparked controversy during a recent appearance on CBS Mornings, where he remarked that 'black people have replaced the Jews' while discussing his new leading role on Broadway.
The 55-year-old actor and singer appeared on the network's morning segment on Monday to promote his role as the Emcee in the Broadway revival of the 1966 musical Cabaret.
Cabaret is a dark, provocative classic set in 1930s Berlin that explores the fate of a seedy nightclub and its patrons as the shadow of Nazism begins to fall over the city.
'And with what's going on in the world right now, black people have replaced the Jews in this sort of configuration of what we're going through.'

So, what exactly IS Ms. Porter anyway. Is she a man dressed as a woman, a man transitioning into a woman or just your everyday, run-of-the-mill She-Male playing a woman when someone is nearby watching.

It's somewhat crazy to think, but I do believe that there's a percentage of gay guys who seroconverted very late in the game for the "specialness" of it. Sadly, NO ONE listens to the experience of HIV-negative guys and as one myself, I almost feel dismissed and hissed at as part of the "stigma" (ha!) and treated with a "What do YOU know about anything?" manner.
The "I'm POZ!" is another badge, talking point, and treasure chest of "Look at ME!" people pull out for street cred. Billy Porter certainly does.
