I'm worshipping fire today.

I thought about going but then I got lazy. I have been thinking about God and spirituality a lot lately. My sister announced that she no longer believes in God. She asked me if I did and I was sort of noncommittal. So I have been thinking. I am spiritual. I pray. But I think while I believe in some higher power, I don't know for sure. I do believe Jesus was a real person. I believe he was a holy man and he said a lot of stuff I agree with. I believe friendly spirits are around and you can call them angels or hell, my mother who died about 7 years ago. I sometimes "pray" to Ma asking her please help me get through whatever. For me church is about community. It's about all these people getting together wishing one another well, and sending out positive "karma" in a sincere effort to help our community do good things and it's all positive. Sometimes I go for the sense of community, not because I believe in some institution like a church.
