by Anonymousreply 27August 18, 2025 2:20 PM

Was she a rescue cat?

by Anonymousreply 1August 17, 2025 6:59 PM

Dollface thread.

by Anonymousreply 2August 17, 2025 6:59 PM

My condolences OP

by Anonymousreply 3August 17, 2025 7:02 PM

Aw, I lost a kitty too. My thoughts are with you

Sorry, OP.

by Anonymousreply 5August 17, 2025 7:08 PM

I'm very sorry.

by Anonymousreply 6August 17, 2025 9:57 PM

Hope you're doing okay, OP. Losing a dollface is tough.

by Anonymousreply 7August 17, 2025 10:41 PM

If it won't make you feel worse, can you show us a photo, OP?

by Anonymousreply 8August 17, 2025 10:44 PM

She will live on in your handle on DL.

And in your heart.

Wishing you peace and comfort.

by Anonymousreply 9August 17, 2025 10:48 PM

OP, am so sorry for your loss.

by Anonymousreply 10August 17, 2025 11:12 PM

Aww, very sorry to hear about your kitty, OP

by Anonymousreply 11August 17, 2025 11:21 PM

I have a recipe.

by Anonymousreply 12August 18, 2025 12:56 AM

So sorry. Kitty loss is tough. I lost one at fifteen and was so upset because I thought she had at least four or five more years. My vet said she was quite old, cats are considered seniors after the age of seven. So your kitty had an excellent run!

by Anonymousreply 13August 18, 2025 1:39 AM

When are dogs considered seniors?

by Anonymousreply 14August 18, 2025 1:42 AM

Sorry, OP.

by Anonymousreply 15August 18, 2025 1:47 AM

r14, that depends on the breed. Usually smaller dogs live longer.

by Anonymousreply 16August 18, 2025 1:51 AM

What about large breeds such as Labradors, huskies and boxers, r16?

by Anonymousreply 17August 18, 2025 1:55 AM

I'm so sorry OP. Losing our nonhuman furry kids sucks, but take comfort in that her spirit will always be with you. She's waiting patiently for you in the Afterlife, politely ignoring alllllll the other kitties doing the same thing.

by Anonymousreply 18August 18, 2025 1:57 AM

I’m so sorry, OP. Sending love your way you and up to Miss Lucy.

by Anonymousreply 19August 18, 2025 1:58 AM

I’m so sorry. Can only imagine your sadness. Let it take time.

by Anonymousreply 20August 18, 2025 2:08 AM

I wish they hadn’t taken a deformed cat and made a new breed out of it called Munchkins.

by Anonymousreply 21August 18, 2025 2:26 AM

I’m so sorry op! Your fur baby appreciated your love

by Anonymousreply 22August 18, 2025 2:34 AM

hopefully this works

So sorry to hear of Miss Lucy's transition to the rainbow bridge afterlife.

by Anonymousreply 24August 18, 2025 10:43 AM

Aw, she’s gorgeous OP.

by Anonymousreply 25August 18, 2025 1:09 PM

I condole you, OP.

by Anonymousreply 26August 18, 2025 1:14 PM

Lucy was adopted from the spca, along with her late sister Cinder. At their former home there had been some sort of accident and sister lost an eye. Lucy walked in a rather hesitant manner probably because of the fall.
