Really good looking people are usually going to have kids who aren’t as good-looking, but they are rarely ugly. The guy in OP’s photo is so fat it’s hard to tell, but he’s probably not ugly. The Willis sisters are a legit example, although I feel a little bit bad saying that and I think “ugly” is going too far. They are interesting because it’s not that they bear no resemblance to their parents, it’s just that you wouldn’t expect those features to rearrange themselves so unsatisfactorily, three times. They all have nice skin and hair and decent figures, though.

Rob Lowe's sons aren't ugly but they're average.

Ryan O'neal was a beautiful man all throughout his life, but none of his children turned out to be attractive, especially his son with Farrah Fawcett. Ryan and Farrah were the most beautiful couple, but their one and only child together is absolutely hideous. Luckily, Farrah never had a daughter because those kinds of comparisons can destroy a girl's self-esteem. Poor Redmond definitely got the short end of the genetic stick.

r49 - I never thought Farrah was beautiful/gorgeous. She was healthy looking to me: great hair and teeth, very fit body, etc. Her eyes were quite arresting.

Redmond has her facial structure...a longer face, cheekbones showing. In my opinion, he looks quite a bit like her and not really like Ryan at all, except he did get Ryan's coloring (hair, skin).

Madonna's biological daughter, Lourdes, isn't ugly but I find her unattractive. She looks slack jawed and sloppy most of the time. The other biological kid, Rocco, is attractive to an extent, but not a stunner, either, and quite short. In both cases, I would say the parents were good looking but the offspring are kind of "meh."
