Has anyone ever bought one? What was in it? I see these ads all over Facebook.

I'm using Amazon boxes to grow potatoes right now.

There was a business in Utah that tried to open a physical store selling Amazon returns, and these pallets were how they were acquiring the "merchandise". Amazon did not like this concept, and I don't know how you'd make it work in an era in which people don't want to go to stores and particularly given that shopping as a pastime has ended. That said, these pallets are so hit and miss that you have to be really dedicated to finding those exceedingly rare new $5000 notebooks being marked "defective" because the power cord was missing or some such ridiculous rationale. (as the TikToks so excitingly promise!).
Amazon just found a way to sell stuff that they otherwise were paying to send to a landfill.

I was getting something like that showing up in my Instagram feed, a woman buying pallets that had just a bunch of boxes shrink wrapped together. It was the cheapest Chinese crap you can imagine. No-name brand sneakers and daypacks, plastic jewelry for little girls…just junk. So depressing. Thankfully I haven’t seen her in months.

Youtuber Sayfia Nygaard has done two videos. As R6 said, seems very hit or miss

We live in a world of cheap, plastic, Chinese crap. That's what most of those boxes will be filled with. Getting something valuable out of one is a matter of luck. I would stay away.

OK, I watched part of a video. It seems only part of the box is unknown. You can see a manifest, but the name/descriptions of the items is only sometimes clear what each is. Sometimes it's just a category. So it's somewhat known cheap, plastic, Chinese crap, not as totally random as I thought. Still crap tho.
