The Cellulite Mafia has lost their minds

But when they say liberals, I assume they mean far left liberals, because I’m a moderate liberal and I don’t understand why people find this advertisement so offensive.

They love these stories. They're pushing it as hard as they can. Plus she's the biggest star they have that is a Republican and they are star fuckers

We all know who OP is. And she’s no “liberal.”

by Anonymousreply 2August 15, 2025 7:13 PM

Of course USA Today is writing about this while ignoring the laundry list of A-list celebrities (Taylor, Beyoncé, Colbert, Springsteen, etc.) who trigger MAGAts just because they don’t worship Dump.

Who? The little cunt from white lotus?

I wouldn't expect a USA Today reader to understand anything remotely complicated, OP.

Outrage addiction is real. And exhausting. There are millions of people who wake up each morning just itching to get outraged by the nonsense of the day. It’s never important and always has to do with celebrities.

These people are starving for attention and the only way the get it is to “offended” about something,

Rinse, lather, repeat.

Sad times.

They’re really pushing the “ugly liberals hate beautiful blond people”. There is some truth to that but it’s not the majority.

The author is horse faced.

Liberals are not outraged by the Sydney Sweeney Todd ads.

by Anonymousreply 10August 15, 2025 9:13 PM

I couldn't give two shits about this controversy. Sweeney is a trashy whore and American Eagle doesn't want my dollars. Why do I care? Putin getting the red carpet treatment and DC being policed by the military? Now that's disturbing and on my radar.

R8, noticing that white standards of beauty have been THE STANDARD of beauty since forever and trying to bristle against that isn't hatred, it's just long overdue.

by Anonymousreply 12August 15, 2025 9:40 PM

[quote] 39% of young women — the ad’s target demographic — said they’re less likely to buy AE jeans. 21% of male respondents said the same.

R12 When did not being morbidly obese become a “white standard of beauty?”
