Like staying in a $70/night hotel for a month.

I will take the ghosts infested apartment in Buffalo, NY, minus the carpet, thanks.

Ohio?

No.

It's not bad for a short time. Clean. As a starter place it's pretty good. Roomy enough, maybe not in the right places though.

No one will ever use those group rooms.

How America’s Test Kitchen of it! 🄣

I like the new apt buildings with those open spaces - R5, you would be surprised. Particularly if you share an apartment and you want to get out - it's a place to go besides your bedroom.

Particularly in those 4 and 5 bedrooms which are obviously created for students - and there will be a lot of students.

The test kitchen in my place has chefs that come in and gives free classes every other week. It's fun.

I’m not cool enough to live there.

I guess this could be for students to a degree, but it seems closer to the state house, so not sure if it's aimed more at young political types.

Not bad for $2000.

That's the 'Bottoms' neighborhood. Used to be working class/low income and right by the river it flooded. Now they are trying to gentrify it as the Near West Side (crime still included).

Columbus really changed a lot in the last decade or so. Downtown looks so different, and Short North seems to have a bunch of new condo buildings everywhere.

I still miss living in Clintonville. Heading down High St on a Friday or Saturday night, looking for cornfed OSU cock....damn, that was like shooting fish in a barrel. (Though it was **even better** when I lived and worked a few blocks away from UW-Madison.)

Once again - as with the Buffalo thread - what's up with the huge overstatement in the square footage?

by Anonymousreply 12August 15, 2025 2:32 PM

The street view is interesting

by Anonymousreply 13August 15, 2025 3:09 PM

What is this, American Psycho?

That kitchen is as white as God's face.
