A lovely report about "Sunset Boulevard" from today's CBS Sunday Morning.

Nancy Olsen looks fabulous at 97!

And just think, G is only 25 years older than that.

Nancy Olsen is amazing here. 97!?

by Anonymousreply 2August 10, 2025 7:03 PM

Holy shit, she looks like...Nancy Olsen! "Fabulous" is an understatement. And sharp as a tack.

by Anonymousreply 3August 10, 2025 7:07 PM

Wouldn't it be nice to see her cast in something today.

by Anonymousreply 4August 10, 2025 7:11 PM

I hope you're joking, r4. She might die at any moment, insurance would never cover such a shoot.

by Anonymousreply 5August 10, 2025 7:13 PM

Nancy looks like she stayed out of the sun and was good about facials, skincare, eating and exercising.

I would have thought she was late 70s.

Most 97 year olds are propped up in a chair barely talking.

Nancy Olson should be our new So Young representative. 97!

Enjoy this type of programming because it won't be around much longer. Once Skydance and David Ellison take over, they'll make Donald Trump in charge of programming, or at the very least, he'll have final say on programming choices.

A mere child!

Bullshit.

George Burns was 98 in Radio Land Murders.

Lilian Gish was 95 in The Whales of August.

Norman Lloyd was 99 in Train Wreck.

Face it, r10, it *will* preclude her from the Marvel franchise. It's not fair...but that's the way it is.

by Anonymousreply 11August 10, 2025 8:24 PM

R11 LOL Well. you are right about that.

by Anonymousreply 12August 10, 2025 8:27 PM

Harrison Ford is 83 and works regularly in the Marvel franchise. Sharon Stone is only 67.

Whatever Olson says, it's pretty hard to believe that Brenda Marshall, Holden's wife, would have been allowed on set by Wilder, much less yell "cut!"

Lloyd Webber claims Scherzinger is "probably" the best singing Norma. We await the previous performers in the role to disagree, violently.

Olson is a very alert and healthy 97-year-old, but she looks exactly her age.

Yeah, this seems to be one of the many dubious stories famous or semi-famous people spout.

I thought he was talking about her voice being the best of all of the great voices he had worked with, not the best Norma, r14.

This old crow should fly away. SHE IS TAKING OUR WORK!

by Anonymousreply 18August 11, 2025 12:55 PM

Nancy Olson is having a brief moment in the spotlight....good for her.
