The Turkish Chanel store that refused to let Jennifer Lopez shop there is riddled with bad reviews online. The high-end luxury store located in Istanbul’s Istinye Park has a low rating of 2.9 out of 5 on Google. Most of the complaints stem from customers fuming over the poor treatment they received from security.
Lopez, like many former disgruntled customers, was turned away at the door by security, but the A-lister reportedly took the snub in stride, responding, “OK, no problem.”
Local news outlet Turkiye Today reported that when other employees realized it was Lopez, 56, who had been denied, they tried to get the pop star back into their shop but she declined. Instead, the “Hustlers” star reportedly went on a shopping spree at nearby Celine and Beymen stores, where she allegedly spent tens of thousands of dollars.
Lopez was in Istanbul for part of her 19-stop summer tour, “Up All Night.”
