Do, any good gossip?
NYC Opera Queens are suspiciously silent…
I feel shades of Andrew Cunannan- sans the murders. Unless he was murdered by the enraged family he stole from.

He was pretty cute before Cosmetic Surgery. And then turned tragic.
Impressive as far as impostors go...

Seemingly rich who pay for all their friends are always highly suspicious.

I wrote this on the Broadway thread. There’s really not much to say about him. “He was tangentially around my circle at the Met. He was basically the return of Alberto Vilar. I was surprised to read that the admin took him so seriously. One would think that they’d learned from Vilar. Apparently not. He was weird and plastic and detached and creepy, but most of the 1% and their hanger on pretenders are like that at the elite classical institutions. You can still get away with this sort of scammery in NYC, at least for a little awhile.”

But who has had him?

It’s all about the money. Get it, good, gone. Too much diligence threatens it all for these cash guzzling arts organizations coupled to so many grifters, propping their fragile egos up with cash, other people’s cash. No one really cares until a certain line is crossed. But like any addiction it is progressive and only grows until some kind of bottom is hit. $10 million to the Met from a 40 year old with a vague background. And boom!
