She's in the show all of two minutes and has one or two lines. I was stunned at the end when I found out it was her and wondered why she would accept such a nothing role, unless she needed the money. But they couldn't writer her something a little more substantial?

Shit, even Susan Richardson got a couple of episodes on One Day playing a friend of Barbara and Mark's.

Eve appeared on a very early episode of That '70 Show, as Jackie's realtor mother. It was essentially a cameo (just a couple lines), but her delivery was funny. "And this tiled walkway leads to the swimming pool...which is occupied by some of the local teenagers....heavily Caucasian...it's a good neighborhood!"

Here she is on Rosie O'Donnell Show acting excited when discussing anything other than TBB.

These days Eve, Cynthia Nixon and Laurie Metcalf have a similar vibe. They should do a show together, maybe golden girls type sisters, Eve could be the middle sister.

To be serious for a moment, I can really respect Susan Dey's behavior. She doesn't want to be a part of the whole nostalgia thing, so she stays home and stays quiet. No talk shows. No memoirs. She doesn't tease with an appearance and then refuse to talk about The Partridge Family. Well, Susan Dey went on to do major motion pictures and a whole other hit series. People don’t as relentlessly tie her to one role.

I would also point out that her show wasn’t quite as universally beloved as THE BRADY BUNCH, nor was her character Laurie as central as Jan.

Kensington Publishing while a respectable book publisher, is not one of the major houses. I'd suspect that she sold her memoir there after the other major publishers passed. The truth is that these type of memoirs don't sell as amazingly as DL denizens would believe.

If this is a cash grab (which I don't believe it is given her history of modest living and continuous employment), it would be a very minor one at that. I'd guess she'll make tens of thousands of dollars not hundreds.

If she was desperately in search of cash she'd make comparable money quickly on the autograph convention circuit which she has to my knowledge completely avoided.

She doesn't seem the type to go through money fast. If she sold her Malibu house for millions years ago, she probably still has most of it.

All the Brady girls skipped one revival. Eve skipped the Brady Bunch Hour, Susan skipped The Christmas movie and Maureen skipped The Bradys, so this idea that Eve is somehow less a willing participant in Brady fandom is silly.

Maureen's book was bonkers and IF she embellished or exaggerated a same sex affair between her and Eve to sell books then I could understand why Eve would be upset. It's not homophobic, it's lying.

Susan looks like she should have played Glenn's role in Hillbilly Elegy.

Florence had a tendency to over enunciate when she was singing.

Martin Sheen played the priest who helped her.

Maureen was in an episode of Insight, too…
