The film never had an American distributor (was the height of MeToo)

Call me sane, but I don't think an adult male should be vaginally and anally penetrating a 13-year-old girl. He belongs in prison. So, I really don't give a shit about his latest (six-year-old) effort.

I don't like Polanski headlining over Jeff Buckley and Marc Boland's faces, at all. Horrid, fucked ans misleading.

It was the 1970s-Shit happened back then. Samantha's mom got paid, Samantha got paid twice, forgave Roman publicly-sex was different in the 1970s. I don't see the problem anymore

I got the DVD from France last year. No English subtitles, but not hard to follow if you know the details of the Dreyfus Affair.
It's a superb film. Now showing at Film Forum, NYC.

I really don’t give a fuck. Look, am I going to sit and weep every time a young hooker feels as though she’s been taken advantage of?
