Aging sucks
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 8, 2025 8:49 PM |
Harrison looks like she’s wearing a mask from the way her face protrudes.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 8, 2025 8:52 PM |
Who are all the women on the left??
No Marilee Stone?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 8, 2025 8:53 PM |
Audrey Landers looks fantastic! Linda Grey looks ok, too. Charlene Tilton will forever look like a Troll doll to me.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 8, 2025 8:53 PM |
Who's the guy far-right who is 1/2 cut out of the photo?
Jenilee Harrison looks the worst.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 8, 2025 8:53 PM |
Linda looks great. She’s 84. She also played Heather Locklear’s character’s mother on Melrose Place and its spinoff Models Inc.

Where’s Victorian Principal??
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 8, 2025 8:56 PM |
R4 Jesse Metcalfe I think.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 8, 2025 8:57 PM |
Sorry, R5. Jesse Metcalfe.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 8, 2025 8:57 PM |
Who I mean WHO is that humanoid looks like the love child of Fred Armisen and Jocelyn Wildenstein? I’ve just lost my appetite.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 8, 2025 8:59 PM |
Steve Kanaly is beside Metcalfe.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 8, 2025 9:00 PM |
R10, it’s Cindy Snow. She’s klutzy.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 8, 2025 9:00 PM |
Principal keeps a low profile and I don’t think has done any of the fan events.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 8, 2025 9:17 PM |
Damn Victoria! I missed her in the Dallas reboot and miss her now. Pammy is my favorite character. 🙁
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 8, 2025 9:18 PM |
Victoria is very involved with her horses.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 8, 2025 9:20 PM |
Jenilee Harrison looks horrendous. I’m glad my dad isn’t around to see how she turned out. He wasn’t much of a tv guy, but somehow he knew about her and was a big fan. So much so that my told him “I’m tired of hearing about that Jenilee Harrison!”
My mom’s crush was A Martinez from the soap Santa Barbara.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 8, 2025 9:20 PM |
Principal appeared once at a Dallas reunion on the “ranch” for TV in 2004.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 8, 2025 9:22 PM |
Who looks worse, Jennilee or Joan Van Ark? I think they look equally rough.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 8, 2025 9:24 PM |
Who are the women on the left? I think I recognize "Cally", "Phylis" and "Kendall" and maybe "Sly" on the very left? But who is behind them or the one sitting in front of them?

Cathy Podewell (Cally) is beside Linda Gray. She’s only 61.

She is in very good company!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 8, 2025 9:36 PM |
Agree with r23. Van Ark looks much better than she has in recent years. Harrison's mask-like appearance is pretty sudden which is why it's so shocking.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 8, 2025 11:08 PM |
All of these white people look terrible. It’s a dangerous thing to age while white.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 8, 2025 11:22 PM |
Wow, Linda Gray looks fantastic
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 8, 2025 11:27 PM |
Are you sure that’s not the reunion for some horror movie?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 8, 2025 11:34 PM |
r29 I really do believe 90% of Joan's bad looks are because of her horrendous makeup
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 8, 2025 11:46 PM |
Van Ark began messing with her face years ago, and always overdoes her procedures. Hence, the problem.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 8, 2025 11:49 PM |
Not in a million years would I ever think that’s Jenilee.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 8, 2025 11:50 PM |
Joan van Ark is a burn victim.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 8, 2025 11:50 PM |
Janine Tuner in the blonde fright wig! Jesus! She was so beautiful on Northern Exposure. Unfortunately, she has always been a big Repug.

Jon Ross not there? Josh Henderson hasn't worked (according to IMDB) in years.

It's not the aging that looks so bad, it's the insane plastic surgery. Old people don't look scary, they just look wrinkled.

Where are Howard Keel and Donna Reed? They were my favorites!
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 9, 2025 12:20 AM |
At least I recognized Linda Grey and Charlene Tilton. Ugh!
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 9, 2025 12:21 AM |
I just noticed how Atkins seemed to have touched up his own face in that photo
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 9, 2025 12:22 AM |
Jenilee Harrison made a tiktok and seems genuinely happy to be there and signing autographs. I went to a convention 20 years ago and Richard Hatch (the actor) was there and seemed completely miserable.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 9, 2025 12:27 AM |
Who is the person in the back, standing to the right of Patrick Duffy in OP's pic? She looks like Caitlyn.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 9, 2025 12:31 AM |
I think that must be Barbara Bel Geddes, r46.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 9, 2025 12:35 AM |
Did Larry Hagman fuck Charlene Tilton? His mentoring of her always seemed odd to me.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 9, 2025 12:39 AM |
Harrison looks much better at r45 but is that a recent photo? I can't figure out what is going on with her face at OP and other recent photos. It really does look like a mask poorly attached to someone else's head.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 9, 2025 12:40 AM |
Donna Reed lived to only 64.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 9, 2025 12:41 AM |
I know Tilton has been married to men a couple times but she always struck me as one who might prefer seafood to sausage
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 9, 2025 12:42 AM |
Charlene does not look like either Joan van Ark or Ted Shackelford.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 9, 2025 12:43 AM |
Priscilla Pointer died just a few months ago, she was 100.
And probably still looked better than Joan.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 9, 2025 12:44 AM |
R46, is it Mary Crosby?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 9, 2025 12:46 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 9, 2025 12:48 AM |

Charlene looks like Tippi Hedren.

R54 - who is that in the hat?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 9, 2025 12:51 AM |
I think the actress who played Phyllis looks like she may have made it without any alterations. She looks the most natural in this image.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 9, 2025 12:51 AM |
R59, you mean the lady in red on the right? I'd say that is Marilee Stone/Fern Fitzgerald.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 9, 2025 12:55 AM |
Yes, R61. Thanks.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 9, 2025 12:57 AM |
Getting fired from Dallas hurried Donna Reed's death.

by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 9, 2025 12:59 AM |
That time DALLAS hired a Calvin Klein model to be J.R.s long lost son. Sasha Mitchell. He was in the cast photo R54.

One really has to wonder what Joan Van Ark and Jennie Lee Harrison say to each other in these reunion encounters.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 9, 2025 1:09 AM |
Why is there almost like a cartoon-ish filter on the pic at OP? Christopher Atkins' crow's feet look drawn on, e.g., and as stated above, Jenilee's face looks like a mask--about 6 inches away from where her actual face should be.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 9, 2025 1:21 AM |
R66, they say, "I'm sorry. Do I know you? I don't recognize the face..."
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 9, 2025 1:28 AM |
I wish the names were listed. I'm aghast at Jennilee Harrison - she's 67, but what the FUUUUCKKKK!! Scaring little children.
I can't imagine what her husband thinks when he comes home at night. EEEK.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 9, 2025 1:34 AM |
Somebody posted this last month on another thread. Jennilee looks like she had a face transplant.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | August 9, 2025 1:50 AM |
Victoria is active on Facebook and posts about the animals on her ranch and Dallas all the time, among other things. So she acknowledges how much people still love the show, just in her own way. She made a fortune selling her skin care company, so she doesn’t have to do the fan events for money. Everyone looks great except Jenilee. I honestly don’t know wtf she did to her face.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 9, 2025 1:55 AM |
R70 Priscilla Barnes still looks good - always thought she was gorgeous. But the long blonde straight hair - no.
JenniLee looks like a middle-aged man made up for Halloween.
I just - I don't know how they could fuck it up THAT BAD. Something horrible happened. She's not poor.
She really looks like a man's head placed on a thin in-shape woman's body with a wig thrown on top.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | August 9, 2025 2:07 AM |
Sherilee J. Wilson who played April in the original Dallas looks great. She's the one sitting on the right wearing purple top and white pants.

Jenilee looks like she took her surgeon a picture of Greg Abbott and said, "I want this look." Then the doctor promptly stopped mid surgery and told her to leave.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | August 9, 2025 2:33 AM |
R71, thank you so much for that tip. I just did a rewatch of my favorite Dallas episodes earlier this year and Victoria still makes this gay man swoon. God she was gorgeous and love me some Pammy.

R76 I was totally trying to think of what photo she must have taken with her for inspiration.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | August 9, 2025 3:02 AM |

Have we ever discussed Audrey Landers gay son? He was trying to get into the Disney stuff 15 years ago but it never happened. He also tried out for X-Factor...VIDEO LINK....David rocking leather pants and 20 bracelets.

Priscilla Presley’s daughter on Dallas Shalane McCall completely disappeared from show business in 1989 and got married at 17, and is still married to the guy and has a family. She’s never given an interview, made any kind of appearance at any of the Dallas reunions.
I thought she was gorgeous and would go on to a successful career as an adult but did a disappearing act.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | August 9, 2025 3:53 AM |
That’s one scary looking collection of corpselike hair stylings and face work! Geezus.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | August 9, 2025 3:59 AM |
Linda Gray looks amazing and got the face she deserves. One of the nicest, most gracious people who ever made it in television. Everyone in LA loves her.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | August 9, 2025 4:04 AM |
Barbara Eden was on Dallas for a few episodes too. Leann delavega (?)
by Anonymous | reply 86 | August 9, 2025 4:09 AM |
Barbra Eden played Leann (Nelson!) De La Vega. She came to Dallas to get revenge on J.R. after a botched abortion (with JRs child) left her unable to have kids. He didn't realize she was an ex from college until she told him in her final episode.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | August 9, 2025 4:25 AM |
R70 - That can't be real!! WTF!
by Anonymous | reply 88 | August 9, 2025 4:38 AM |
She looks like Rocco Steele.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | August 9, 2025 4:42 AM |
R87 I liked the reteaming of Hagman and Eden, but it was utterly stupid JR couldn’t remember Leann from his past. JR was supposed to be straight as an arrow, so how could he forget the way Barbara looked in her prime? The last seasons after Victoria left were horrible anyway.

[bold] Is it just me? [/bold] Why doesn't Dynasty seem to have this same kind of fanbase?. I loved Dallas and Dynasty (and Falcon Crest). I just don't understand why Dynasty doesn't have this kind of grand cast reunion like Dallas does.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | August 9, 2025 6:51 AM |
I looked up pictures of Jenilee Harrison from early in her career. She was sort of generically attractive enough, at least regular looking. But even fairly young, something odd started happening to her face. In this pic, she has that off putting simian vibe - similar to Brigitte Macron.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | August 9, 2025 8:41 AM |
Joan Van Ark was there —where’s Ted Shackelford?
by Anonymous | reply 95 | August 9, 2025 9:47 AM |
I think the scariest part of Jenilee's face in OP's pic is those black, hollowed-out gapes where her eyes should be.
Very sinister. Almost like if you made eye contact with her, you'd see the Deadlights!
I wonder if, at 67, she can still perform outrageous physical humor?
by Anonymous | reply 96 | August 9, 2025 10:09 AM |
Generally speaking, I think Linda Gray looks good but her hair (wig?) does her no favors. Bobby has aged well. Jock & Miss Ellie loved him the best for a good reason. Ray Krebs doesn't look to bad either
by Anonymous | reply 97 | August 9, 2025 10:35 AM |
Duffy really does look good.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | August 9, 2025 11:24 AM |
They all look a bit emulsified, but Christopher Atkins seems to have aged the best of all of them.

R95 Ted Shackelford is unwell, sadly
by Anonymous | reply 100 | August 9, 2025 11:59 AM |
Loved Dallas. It felt so real. The back story was so believable and gave the whole thing a depth that Dynasty didn't have. I remember those cliff hangers where my whole family wud go Oh My God... it was probably the only show that we all sat and bonded over every week. Linda Gray is a lady, met her 3 times. Met Larry too. Meeting the 2 together was just tremendous. JR gave me a dollar with his face on it. I think Charlene looks amazing, Patrick Duffy too and Ken, Ray Krebbs looks great. Love seeing them all here. Oh, and Afton looks amazing.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | August 9, 2025 12:01 PM |
Looking at r94's picture, I'm not even sure Jennilee had surgery? She's super skinny, and had that unique face already - maybe she has just aged in an odd way?
by Anonymous | reply 102 | August 9, 2025 12:05 PM |
I just don't understand why Dynasty doesn't have this kind of grand cast reunion like Dallas does.
Maybe fans just didn't connect enough with the characters on Dynasty. Or maybe the stars didn't feel too connected. Evans may show up to conventions, but Collins won't. And the others may not be enough of a draw for fan conventions. I'm sure Emma Samms doesn't need to hear that she was all wrong.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | August 9, 2025 12:28 PM |
R93 Dynasty/Colbys have their share of fans, but Dallas was more impactful than the two shows. Dallas basically owned the first half of the 1980s ratings wise. There have been a few fan events over the years for Dynasty, but it may boil down to who can participate. Linda Evans hasn’t come to any of the events that I know of. If they can’t coordinate a fairly large group to do them, what’s the point? Whereas with Dallas they have these quite regularly, and you can always count on Patrick, Linda, Charlene, and Steve bare minimum to attend. Then they usually get a lot more of the actors. Susan Howard was supposed to do the latest one in ops pic, but she backed out for some reason.

Can you not see the obvious Photoshopping on his face?
by Anonymous | reply 105 | August 9, 2025 12:47 PM |
R102, that's got to be more than just gravity. She's obviously had lip and facial fillers, that's why her face looks too big.
These women keep on building their faces outward and if you see them at the wrong angle, it's a mess.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | August 9, 2025 12:57 PM |
Can any DL sleuths find a photo of Jennilee between the one at r94 and the current photos? It would be fascinating to follow her progression.

Maybe Jennilee is really ill? She seems toward Elephant Man proportions.
by Anonymous | reply 108 | August 9, 2025 1:03 PM |

He’s also the youngest of them, probably the only one under 65.
by Anonymous | reply 109 | August 9, 2025 1:55 PM |
The filter or photoshop used give them a cartoon quality that actually enhances all the horrible plastic surgeries.
by Anonymous | reply 110 | August 9, 2025 4:09 PM |
Dallas started in 1978., nearly 50 years ago. These people are elderly, so cut them a little slack.
I was surprised Charlene Tilton is only 66. I would've thought she would be in her 70s by now.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | August 9, 2025 4:31 PM |
R94 - I was looking at that pic too and thought - ok, this is where things started to go off the rails for her.
Looks like she got a deep peel AND a facelift. That can tighten and stretch your face out way too much so it starts to distort your features.
And those dark eyebrows? WTF? They're hideous and don't match her coloring.
by Anonymous | reply 112 | August 9, 2025 4:38 PM |
R111 we HAVE cut them slack, and this is DL where celebrities are normally skewered for everything regarding their looks. There have been many compliments about the way the group looks as a whole. We’ve only really singled out Harrison because she looks incredibly freakish.

Jesse Metcalfe is 46.
by Anonymous | reply 124 | August 10, 2025 12:08 AM |
R123 = Yeah. LINK....Annalynn Mccord spilled some tea on the Dallas set....She is clearly talking about JM (he was the main person she did scenes with)..Rumors floated of his (alleged) daydrinking. THEN his character is in an exploding car....ALSO sounds like others on the set had "issues"... There were also stories about Jesse and Josh "special friendship" was not going well and spilled onto the set.
by Anonymous | reply 125 | August 10, 2025 12:15 AM |
I would bet that Jesse's drinking issues were all due to his lack of confidence in his acting skills. He was (and still is) just a pretty face, after all, with no training.
Like he needed a few pints before he could get himself on the set.
Of course, that could be said about most of the younger actors on those night time (and day time) soaps.

Throwback...Callard Harris as cutie Tommy Sutter. ...Nice guy Tommy came to Southfork to spend time with his sister, Rebecca, who was marrying Christopher Ewing. They were the only relatives each other had because their parents died in a plane crash. Turns out Rebecca Ewing was Pamela Barnes (daughter of Cliff and Afton) and sleeping with her NON brother Tommy.
by Anonymous | reply 131 | August 10, 2025 6:16 AM |
So MAGA cunt Janine Turner was in a couple of episodes that no one remembers but shows up for the reunion? It's like something crazy Brendad would do.
by Anonymous | reply 132 | August 10, 2025 6:21 AM |
R132 I think they should focus more on who the fans remember, or who at least did an extended arc of episodes. Inviting Turner and Fairchild is ridiculous. J. Eddie Peck, Susan Lucci, Lesley Anne Down and Barbara Eden would all be good candidates.
by Anonymous | reply 133 | August 10, 2025 11:17 AM |
Would Dallas work as a TV show these days? The 2012 reboot had some serious issues, but nothing that couldn't have been fixed Generally, though I thought that the 21+ episode seasons really worked well for the soap. When they cut it down to 8+8 and 10-episode seasons in 2012, it didn't leave much room for the typical soap stories to develop. As much as I would love a good revival, I don't think it would work with 10 or 8 episodes per season.

R134 unlikely. They would have to reboot it with an entirely new cast. But even then, things that were considered wild and salacious in the early to mid 80s have been done to death for forty years now. If you’re a fan of Dallas, I’d recommend watching the TNT version once, if only to see Larry in his final time as JR. But this version got a LOT of backstory from the og wrong. Southfork looking totally different was the least of its issues, but of course this sucked because I considered the ranch one of the characters. It really only served to watch Larry again, and give the character of Pam closure.
Donna Reed lived to only 64.
She was treated horribly on Dallas, which might have added to her health issues.
Geddes didn't want to play the role anymore because of illness, so they brought Reed in to fill her shoes, who signed a several year contract. She got a lot of vitriol from viewers. Rather than try to publicly support her, Hagman went behind everyone's back and convinced Geddes to return to the show. Barbara agreed. None of it was cleared with Reed until she suddenly found herself out of a job. It was a shitty end to a distinguished career.
I don't think the bulldyke even bothered to apologize to Reed for her shitty underhanded behavior. Hagman certainty never apologized publicly.

Agree with everything you say, r140. Southfork was not brought back right. Did you read that Cynthia Cidre was thinking about adding a wing to Southfork through CGI, had the show been renewed? Not sure if she was joking but I feel like she really meant it.

R141 Barbara left in 1984 because she wanted a slight salary increase, and a lighter work schedule. It wasn’t due to health issues as much as it was these two. Larry has said if she would’ve come to him, she would’ve gotten what she wanted. But her manager rubbed the producers the wrong way, and they showed her the door. Then Barbara called up the producers in 1985 and said she wanted to return. But of course Larry got behind this. The whole thing was a debacle. They could’ve easily given her more money and a better work schedule, considering Miss Ellie didn’t have a lot to the Donna Reed season. I think the whole way this was handled began the downfall of the show. Karma in action. The producers really thought the public would accept anyone if they recast, and any crap writing like the dream season. Barbara did send Donna flowers when she was sick though.

R143- By 1982/83 is when I first noticed a decline- when Pamela moved out because of her mother dying in the hospital from injuries sustained by the plane crash.

R142 haven’t heard that one. I do know Cidre wanted absolutely no input from any of the original Dallas writers, and it showed. So they made up stupid shit like Miss Ellie having a breakdown, Katherine dying because Cidre didn’t realize it was a dream, Jock buried on Southfork when they couldn’t find his body when he died, changing names of Dallas institutions like the Oil Barons ball and Barnes Wentworth etc.

I don't believe this is really the case. They knew very well that Bel Geddes was hard if not impossibly to replace. But their options were limited at that point. They couldn't kill Miss Ellie off. And they couldn't just send her off to Greece (like they later did) because they still wanted to get some mileage out of Howard Keel going against JR. JR needed people on Southfork who would fight him.
Also the dream season was actually pretty good until its second half when Jenna started going crazy and Angelica Nero started showcasing her tentlike hats. And the producer of the dream season was probably not the one who hired Donna Reed.

I actually thought that moving out made Pam a much more interesting character. She became her own and less of a nagging housewife. She regressed again when she remarried Bobby in her last season, crying over not getting children again. No wonder Principal was ready to leave.

R133 they are not very discriminating. Any actor who appeared on the tv show is invited.
Some are getting rather old and not in the best of health.

R145 actually I loved that one. They were smart to keep Jocks presence on the show long after Davis died through the contest for Ewing Oil. The collateral damage it caused went beyond business, and it wrecked Bobby and Pam’s marriage with Rebecca’s death being the last straw Pam couldn’t deal with, sending Sue Ellen back to the bottle, and inadvertently paralyzing Mickey Trotter in their car accident, and Miss Ellie suing to get the will overturned. Almost every character on the show was impacted by JR and Bobby going to war. The last really great season imo was the Reed one leading up to Bobby’s fake death.

R147 then they should have kept BBG in the role. Plus only the first few episodes of the dream season were decent. Then it became about emerald mines and what you described. I actually meant the dream season explanation. Now that I think about it, Leonard Katzman had departed the show, along with Duffy and Tilton at the end of the 7th season, and Phil Capice took over. Overall, I think there was an arrogance that started permeating the show that came with the show being a massive hit, especially when Katzman and Duffy came back, and pulled the dream season stunt. Dynasty fell into the same trap with poor recasts and even worse storylines.

BBG was a three pack a day smoker and swore like a sailor at the docks. Why isn't she a bigger DL icon?

And she created the role of Maggie the Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, ferchrissakes!
