Reminds me of a vid I saw with some guy using a skateboard designed by one of these high end fashion houses. It broke within seconds of regular skateboarding use.

The whole vid is just ugh. Yes, he's being an asshole and the "still hungry" comment is an overused, obnoxious one about fine dining, multi-course meals, but it wouldn't surprise me if the place was weak and boring compared to other high end dining in the area either.

This douche has been around for a while. The first time I saw him I thought it might turn out to be a parody.

Sadly no.

He has much more of this self important awfulness to share if you're curious.

I would describe that personality as cancerous. This odd, ugly media phenomenon fits with a lot of “smirking jerk” aspiring influencers that hopefully will just fall out of fashion. It’s just not cool or interesting.

Content like this (homely aspiring influencers “reviewing” expensive meals) is like a new unsavory C-Word.

I feel bad for diners who may have saved up for a special meal or first class airfare only to find a little prick like this guy aping into his iPhone seated beside them. I’d be interested to hear how hosts or other guests deal with idiots producing really bad content like this with the dim hope of getting fancy meals for free in the distant future.

You almost wish someone, maybe another diner or a restauranteur, would grab people like this by the scruff and tell them to get out. That would be more interesting to watch.

There’s a dude on Insta that goes to those kinds of restaurants in NYC.

He’s really humble and nine times out of ten he is able to get in without reservations. He orders and if he doesn’t understand something, he just asks. The waitstaff are super nice and not at all snobby.

He’s been to the LV restaurant, the Tiffany one, the Ralph Lauren eatery, other Michelin-starred places. It’s fun to see what those places are since most probably won’t be able to ever go there.

We live vicariously thru him.

I am not sure why people are saying he is a douche. I think his review of the St. Tropez restaurant is on spot. If you want to be so high-end, then people want to taste something extraordinary. And he is attractive. Look at his abs, smooth, tanned, golden skin. Wow.

On the basis of this vid he does seem like an entitled dick.

But R4 is right — you can easily spend the same amount of money per person at a decent restaurant in NYC, or even more if there was liquor involved, such as cocktails and a good bottle of wine or two.

So his swooning over the amounts things cost, while douche-y, is also hopelessly naive and hickish. Which observation makes me a dick, I guess.

R18 cause his reviews are spot on. He's knowledgable about food and knows what he's talking about. He highlights small, local, often minority owned restaurants in NYC and cause he's hot and has swag.

That being said, I just watched a review of his of Gymkhana in London and he and his bros really do need to talk their hats off while they are eating.
