You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

by Anonymousreply 2August 6, 2025 7:26 PM

Oh I think R1 has spoken for us all!

by Anonymousreply 3August 6, 2025 7:28 PM

[quote]"In a moment of fearlessness, as he lived his life, he met the challenge head-on, leaving this world a man of courage, faith, and adventure.”

Oh, he met it head-on, all right.

by Anonymousreply 4August 6, 2025 7:30 PM

This is poetic justice and I don't mind it. I will say, if you absolutely HAVE to kill large animals in Africa for whatever damn reason is rattling around in your head, I think Cape Buffalo are a better choice than most of the "exotic" animals people go for. They are plentiful, they are herd animals, they are used to predators and being hunted, and in fairness, they are clearly capable of fighting back so I can see why it is a legitimate challenge.

by Anonymousreply 5August 6, 2025 7:34 PM

I will be sending the buffalo a gift basket.

by Anonymousreply 6August 6, 2025 7:36 PM

That cunt has MAGA written all over him. Team Buffalo. 🦬

by Anonymousreply 7August 6, 2025 7:37 PM

So the water buffalo can skin the man and put his head on its wall, right?

"unprovoked attack" - yeah, tracking an animal with a jeep and guns with the intent to kill it is not 'unprovoked' - the buffalo was acting out of defense.

Screw him - glad he's dead.

by Anonymousreply 8August 6, 2025 7:38 PM

IF only it could happen to Eric and Don Jr.

by Anonymousreply 9August 6, 2025 7:44 PM

Finally some good news!!!!

by Anonymousreply 10August 6, 2025 7:45 PM

Give that buffalo the address of that POS dentist who slaughtered Cecil the Lion.

by Anonymousreply 11August 6, 2025 7:46 PM

Why not make it all in the family, R9?

by Anonymousreply 12August 6, 2025 7:47 PM

Maulface thread.

"That Buffalo was very low IQ"

by Anonymousreply 15August 6, 2025 7:47 PM

This is the safari company’s Insta.

They should start a subscription service with videos of their hunter clients being gored, trampled, clawed, bitten, and eaten.

They’d make a mint.

I would love a photo of the victorious Cape Buffalo with the hunter's posed corpse.

by Anonymousreply 17August 6, 2025 7:59 PM

Its nice to see a feel good story in the news!

by Anonymousreply 18August 6, 2025 8:00 PM

Sadly, he was "killed almost instantly." He should have had a slow, protracted, agonizing, screaming death.

by Anonymousreply 19August 6, 2025 8:17 PM

Yabba dabba doo!! 🐃

by Anonymousreply 20August 6, 2025 8:24 PM

good riddance

by Anonymousreply 21August 6, 2025 8:27 PM

Good.

by Anonymousreply 22August 6, 2025 8:28 PM

[quote]Sadly, he was "killed almost instantly." He should have had a slow, protracted, agonizing, screaming death.

Likely the safari company's lawyers advised them to say that in order to reduce the "pain and suffering" damages that will result from the inevitable lawsuit.

by Anonymousreply 23August 6, 2025 8:28 PM

R17, he’d have him hanging by a horn dancing about saying, “look at me! I don’t pay taxes!”

by Anonymousreply 24August 6, 2025 8:31 PM

Common knowledge in the game parks and reserves that the most aggressive and dangerous animal in the water buffalo. Hippos are also very aggressive. I suppose most believe lions are the most dangerous, but they’re not.

by Anonymousreply 25August 6, 2025 8:33 PM

That's a shame.

by Anonymousreply 26August 6, 2025 8:35 PM

I thought it was cape buffalo, not water buffalo, that was more dangerous. The most dangerous mammal in Africa is usually said to be the hippo.

by Anonymousreply 27August 6, 2025 8:40 PM

My fat daughter is more dangerous than a water buffalo when it's feeding time.

by Anonymousreply 29August 6, 2025 8:46 PM

R27, I’ve been on a private safari and we were told the buffalo is responsible for the most deaths- to never run from one of encountered. And yes We were also told that hippos are very aggressive.

by Anonymousreply 30August 6, 2025 8:48 PM

pouring out a drink for the water buffalo!

by Anonymousreply 31August 6, 2025 9:25 PM

[quote]The hunt, which cost a staggering $10,000

I don't think they understand what 'staggering' means to a millionaire

by Anonymousreply 32August 6, 2025 10:06 PM

"Unprovoked Attack" of a hunter who is out toi kill you.

That's too funny!

-D

by Anonymousreply 33August 6, 2025 10:08 PM

In case you didn’t know, Cape buffalo, like American buffalo, are land dwellers.

Yesterday my favorite uncle died and I've been so sad, but THIS put a smile on my face. Thanks, OP!

by Anonymousreply 35August 6, 2025 10:20 PM

He shouldn't have requested the buffalo's attention in this matter.

by Anonymousreply 36August 6, 2025 10:41 PM

R34, thank you. All this time I thought they were deep sea creatures.

by Anonymousreply 37August 6, 2025 10:46 PM

[quote] I would love a photo of the victorious Cape Buffalo with the hunter's posed corpse.

Isn't that a Far Side cartoon? It certainly fits the strip's ethos.

by Anonymousreply 38August 6, 2025 10:51 PM

I want to take this time to express my deep-thanks to Wally the Water Buffalo. Hope he got the head for mounting.

by Anonymousreply 39August 6, 2025 10:51 PM

Amazon is sold out of plush buffalos. I got the last one.

And all this time I thought they wore capes!

by Anonymousreply 41August 7, 2025 1:01 AM

We've searched high and low, for Miss Water Buffalo...

by Anonymousreply 42August 7, 2025 1:04 AM

Well, sucks to be him.

He fucked around and certainly found out.

I sincerely give no fucks that this ass clown was taken out by the very animal he was trying to hunt down and kill.

Sadly, this will probably deter no one from going on these stupid safari hunting trips.

by Anonymousreply 43August 7, 2025 1:08 AM

If I had the money I'd pay local hunting guides to set this up more often.

by Anonymousreply 44August 7, 2025 1:11 AM

What was on his iPod?

Shuffle Off to Buffalo

Buffalo Springfield's Greatest Hits

by Anonymousreply 45August 7, 2025 1:17 AM

The animals should carry guns. Unless I was being attacked I can’t imagine killing these beautiful animals. I hope the conquest is passed through the animal grapevine- ‘’trampled him to death he did’’ ‘’well he fired first’’ ‘’ that Eleanor won’t take shit from anyone’’

by Anonymousreply 46August 7, 2025 1:23 AM

The hunter's last expression 😳

by Anonymousreply 47August 7, 2025 1:31 AM

Hahaha, cunt! I hope getting gored to death was worth it!

by Anonymousreply 48August 7, 2025 1:34 AM

Poor "Savannah!" Named after the location where her father was gored to death.

What? Nobody’s calling this guy a hero? Dead people are heroes!

by Anonymousreply 54August 7, 2025 2:22 AM

R25, common knowledge also states the Nile crocodile is the blah blah blah as well. Available data are of mixed completeness.

The Cape buffaloes do manage to kill about half of the people they attack.

by Anonymousreply 55August 7, 2025 2:54 AM

"In a moment of fearlessness, as he lived his life, he met the challenge head-on, leaving this world a man of courage, faith, and adventure.”

He was a coward, trying to kill for a thrill.

by Anonymousreply 64August 7, 2025 8:59 AM

Yaaas buffalo! She ate. She tore.

by Anonymousreply 65August 7, 2025 9:29 AM

He probably left behind a bleach-blonde, tanned, breast implant younger widow, who is just now waking up from her all-night celebration.

She can't believe her good fortune - to have him leave the house for 3 weeks was one thing, but this is the icing on the cake!

Bet on it.

by Anonymousreply 66August 7, 2025 2:36 PM

^^She'll boo-hoo it up for the cameras for one week TOPS and then start living it up.

by Anonymousreply 67August 7, 2025 2:44 PM

Of course he's from Texas - Dallas to be specific.

It's these types and the evangelical culture, even in the big cities, that just makes Texas so unwelcoming.
