Paul Ryan is STILL alive

No one rang for him, but yet he's resurfaced, on CNBC, to chat about tariffs.

Another cowardly piece of shit who only found the courage to speak out against Trump AFTER he left office.

Fucking closet case.

He looks a bit like John Boehner.....been hitting the sauce

by Anonymousreply 3August 6, 2025 3:38 PM

This mother fucker is 100% in lock step with every one of Trump's policies.

For whatever reason, he seems to have a personal problem with Trump, but NOT WITH TRUMP's policies.

by Anonymousreply 4August 6, 2025 3:47 PM

Miss Paul Ryan is totally down with Project 2025. He just doesn't like Trump because the MAGAts think he's a cuck, like his pal Mittens Romney.

???? They look nothing alike, and Ryan looks quite good for someone nearing 60.

by Anonymousreply 6August 6, 2025 5:15 PM

I didn't mean they literally looked alike, R6, but Ryan looks a bit puffy like he's been drinking and it was giving Boehner vibes.

by Anonymousreply 7August 6, 2025 5:17 PM

That guy's fleece vest looks like a terrible muscle shirt

by Anonymousreply 8August 6, 2025 5:35 PM

Ryan may have his beefs with Trump, but you can rest assured Ryan voted for him in 2016, 2020 AND 2024.

by Anonymousreply 9August 6, 2025 5:37 PM

He is number 2 on my hate list after Trump.

Not true.

I wouldn't bet the farm on this.

Why has Paul Ryan resurfaced? Possibly for the same reason Trump has begun criticizing Putin.

Ryan fled the scene after it became public knowledge that the RNC illegally accepted money from Russia to fund ops that helped get Trump elected in 2016. At that time, Ryan was caught saying “What happens in the family, stays in the family.” He was gone after that.

I think that Trump’s recent criticisms about Putin, such as about Russia’s continuing war with Ukraine, show a fundamental shift in the power balance between the two despots.

Per SCOTUS, Trump is now above the law (including the Constitution) while he is a sitting president. He is also essentially immune to MAGA disapproval about his behavior. There’s no Russian blackmail potential to harm Trump anymore.

So now Ryan crawls out from his hiding place under the safety umbrella of Trump. Ryan probably craves the power he once had. He has to become relevant again. Trump will die; McConnell will die. He sees room for himself again.

This is all speculation, but I think it’s worth keeping an eye on the number and frequency of Ryan’s media appearances going forward.

R6 You have to remember some dataloungers occasionally smoke meth and then come and post.

by Anonymousreply 13August 7, 2025 7:02 AM

I remember when he said that Trump's first term tax cut would help regular people because companies would use the extra money from the tax breaks to give everyone raises and bonuses.

I've never liked him but it was shocking to see him express such a low opinion of the average person's intelligence. We all know capitalism doesn't work that way.

R14 Reagan was projecting when he called any tax reform proposal that wasn’t his “Trickle-Down” plan “Voodoo Economics.” Trickle Down is the Voodoo plan because it has never helped anyone but the 1%. In fact, it accelerated income inequality and brought us to where we are now.

by Anonymousreply 15August 7, 2025 8:40 AM

The phrase “voodoo economics” was coined not by Reagan, R15, but by George H. W. Bush, in the ‘80 primaries.

by Anonymousreply 16August 7, 2025 9:51 AM

I think he looks fine but he's another one who knew better and did nothing.

He was never that attractive in the first place but it was his cowardly politics that made him ugly.

by Anonymousreply 17August 7, 2025 11:30 AM

He left a safe Congressional seat because of his contempt for Trump.

by Anonymousreply 18August 7, 2025 11:58 AM

Those puffy eyes definitely suggest he's an alkie...

by Anonymousreply 19August 7, 2025 12:23 PM

You're free to fly to Wisconsin and suck his dick, r18.

by Anonymousreply 20August 7, 2025 4:13 PM

Lovely, R20. You're a class act.

by Anonymousreply 21August 7, 2025 4:15 PM

You can say after swallow his gross cum, "I think it's so impressive that you quit your job after enabling a malicious right-right government, Mr. Ryan"
